go with mono facial. The bi-facial is only 615w when mounted correctly where it can get the reflected sunlight rays. If you mount on the roof you won’t get 615W. Just go with mono facial either ways.

So as you clearly admit, it's your panels carrying your AC and not your battery which means you inadvertently made a misleading comparison to the original case where no panels were used; and that's why everyone is assuming you've killed your batteries.

It's fine though and as you've also pointed out you are thinking about going lithium.....and if you could prove that your LA batteries are in top condition, you are still likely to get higher than scrap value for them since you have maintained them so well.

2 years plus still serving me well. Also the reason why I haven’t seen the need to upgrade lithium batteries cos anybody buying used tubular batteries will buy as scrap. I have enough solar panels to cover for the load so I don’t see how it’s a problem for the batteries.

Dam5reey recently did a video of the 1.5kw Haisic inverter carrying an inverter AC rated 1.5hp on a battery of only 100ah till it died (over an hour)! Lets see a lead acid lover try that test with even a 200ah battery!

It seems that Haisic inverter is the real deal so you maybe able to get away with it occasionally.

I power my 1.5 hp Genpal inverter AC (on gen mode level 1) with my 1700w Afripower hybrid inverter and 2 tubular batteries from 10am -2pm.

Tubular is between 250-270k for 220ah. It is not 100ah DOD but 176ah or roughly 2.1kwh

24v 2.5kwh lifepo4 is 600k.

Bia, how many containers of tubular batteries did you recently import? The amount of veins popping out of your forehead as you are making this unnecessary argument is abnormal. I use tubular batteries myself and they are serving me just fine but It will be wicked of me to recommend tubular batteries when I know something superior is available for almost same price. I will rather tell the person to wait a little and save more for something better.

If I can get a good price for my tubular batteries today, I will buy a lithium ion battery replacement tomorrow morning.

1. U bought fake panels, that sticker figures are not the panels isc n vmp, U need to test them individually.
2. Ur panel arrangement should b 2s2p not all in parallel
3. U didn't answer all the previous questions, it's difficult to give recommendations when you don't provide all necessary info.

Kindly snap d side of Ur hybrid inverter where d info is, Ur installer wanting to put all 4 300w in parallel might mean Ur hybrid inverter inbuilt charge controller might not be mppt but rather pwm
Ur panel doesn't fall under the category of wat they used to call 12v panel. 12v panels are d likes of 100w, 120w, 150w and some 200w cause their vmp is 20v and below.
Ur installer needs to know this, if he will put all 4 300w in parallel, Ur cable won't be able to sustain the amount of current that will b passing through it.
I'll recommend to talk to a different installer as U don't AV much knowledge about this.

What are the specs of your MPPT and panels

I don’t use an MPPT. I have 5 300 watts panels.

My guess is 1 of Ur panel is 150-180w. it can work for 24v inverter as long as U AV 2 pcs or more in series.
The part of not charging Ur battery well is what U need to pay attention to.
What max wattage do the panels generate,
What is the stated wattage of 1 panel.
How many pcs do U AV on Ur roof.
Which direction (cardinal point) are dey facing.
U might even b using a lead acid battery that has been abused and can't hold charge like before.
What kind of hybrid inverter do U own.

thank you very much for the reply. I was using 5 300watts panels because the maximum wattage for the inbuilt charge controller is just 1500watts according to the manual. I guess that is why the initial installer installed them in series. The new installer is advising me to remover one of the panels and connect the remaining 4 in parallel.

here is the update as at this morning (just 70 miles of highway driving) .

official range is 385 miles. I have gotten up to 360miles (mostly highway driving) and I always drive with my AC on. Is your check engine light on? Also I stay in the north, decent roads and no traffic (Except at traffic lights).

I just watched a video and the guy was saying it's bad to fill the reserve tank. He said pouring more fuel after the pump kicks will damage one gas chamber. Na true? I always fill up my tank until it can't take another drop.

There is no known engine defect in the 2014 to 20 Hyundai engine setup. Engines burn oil. Owners should check their engine oil after every fill-up.

They are parked because owner is eating by the roadside or even urinating. But the are very reliable workhorse.

12 to 13 came with metallic oil cooler lines so ensure if you aren't buying that year bracket check the cooler lines, if its rubber change to metal if you can. For the V6 engines

The other factory defect is fan switching on by itself even when ignition is off reported here on NL.

Bosses in the house please does the Toyota Highlander 2008-2013 (2nd gen) have any factory defect? I always see them parked by the road on highways.
