Famine and mass murder has met Fulanis too, in the 21st century. Igbo people have recovered from 1967-1970 Biafran war. I guarantee you more Fulanis/Northerners have died from Boko Haram suicide bombing, Jihad terrorism & disease (VFF, polio, kwanshiokor etc.) than Igbos did in 1960s from the war. Literally there was famine in North-East Nigeria in 2020s and Northerners have to flee to Niger and Chad to escape their own Jihad nonsense. Igbos are better off than Fulanis/Northerners will ever be.

Igbo people are not afraid of Fulanis. Was Tafawa Balewa not murdered by an Igbo man? Igbos fought against the Fulani government during the Biafran war. Ordinary civilian Igbo people threatened Buhari not to come to Igboland. Nnamdi Kanu and his Biafran people are not afraid challenge the Fulani hegemony. You don't see Fulanis killing Igbos in the South East like they are killing Middlebelt people. Yorubas fear Fulanis and prostrate before them. My Yoruba mother even said this. That Yoruba people follow Fulanis/Northerners because of Islam.

South Africa is more or less developed. They don't need to leave or immigrate. Non-South Africans "need" to go to the West, Asia etc. to receive what South Africans already have at home.

South Africa is sub-saharan's Africa's most developed country. I don't blame them for thinking that. Foreigners surpass South Africans in South Africa but can't develop their own countries to South Africa's level? Competing in the West means nothing if your homeland is a mess. Are South Africans better off or worse off than other Africans?
I mean white people more or less built and developed South Africa to second world status.

The xenophobic killings have made me realise that Africans really need to stop being reliant on others especially other Africans. Be independent. South Africa is practically the Dubai of Africa, so non-SAs rush there. Build your own country. Put your own people and country first.

Their country is more or less developed. They don't have to leave their country for the West.

Historically and/or currently, it's in the title. Igbo people reject Islam. They have not allowed Islam to spread in Igboland. Igboland is heavily Christian with the traditional religions. There are literally more Igbo Jews than Igbo muslims. Igbo muslims are rare, shunned and ostracised. Igbos muslims are called "Hausa" mockingly at best and are subjected to violence and isolation at worst. Mosques have been burnt in Igboland.
The Biafrans should they get their own nation plan to ban Islam. Prominent Biafran leaders such as Kanu (currently) and Ojukwu (historically) depised Islam and aligned them themselves with Israel/Jews. Designated enemies of muslims and Islam. I've never known an Igbo that supported Arab/muslim causes. Igbos are strongly pro-Israel. Despite Igbos being unaffected by the Fulani Jihad historically, Igbos are the tribe that are the most suspicious of and willing to challenge Fulanis/ Northerners. Rejecting Islam is rejecting/resisting Fulanis/Northerners and their socio-political control.

The Tiv peopl heavily resisted the Fulani Jihads. I'm grateful for that. The terrorist Dan Fodio was killed by a Tiv arrow.

When will the Boko Haram crisis end? Islamic terrorism in general? Ghana has been successful in preventing Islamic terrorism. These muslim terrorists are moving from the Sahel down to coastal West Africa. Action must be taken.
