All these incidents can be drastically reduced only if a legislation can be made, mandating trucks to ply the road only at night. Especially fuel tankers, they should only move between the hours of 7pm and 6am.

At the end of the day, a lot of Oil and Gas investors are either going to exit the industry or be forced to align with Dangote refinery.

The other alternative is to purchase fuel from NNPC refinery.
This will discourage the importation of fuel and possibly end it.

I have a new tubular battery I bought early this month, but I haven't used it due to the nature of my business. I'm always traveling and I don't want to keep the battery idle.

12v, 220ah tubular battery.
Price: 150k.

Note: It has never been used and it's 100% okay. I plan to get lithium battery by January instead.

It's possible that it has discharged below BMS Cut off Voltage, so you might have to Jump Start it.

To do that, you will need a DC Power Supply, Open the battery and Clip your DC Power Supply to the Battery Main Terminals leading to the BMS.
Adjust your Voltage to the Nominal Voltage of the Battery Pack. Turn on your Lithium Battery by its switch.

The DC Power Supply will confuse the BMS to think that your Battery Pack has not discharged and turn on the Mosfets.

Once the battery turns on, start power up your charge source to start charging your battery then remove the DC Power Supply.

You can also charge the cells directly using this method but this is only if you know what you are doing.

Thanks so much for this. I will give it a try and get back to you.

Check if there is a reset button. If there is, try resetting it. What's the SOC display on the inverter? Does it take charge or discharge?;

Please how do I reset it? It has something like a reset key at the top, but that's not working. It doesn't take charge and it doesn't output any volt as well. Everything is just blank.

Good day to all my Oga in the house. I'm currently having an issue with a new SMS LiFe PO4 battery. After installation, it shows a red (ALM) light when I power it ON. Even when it is connected to the felicity charge controller, it doesn't get charged. Instead the charge controller shows error...

Please what could be the cause and how to fix it?

Beer parlour talks...

It's all fake news.

I never witnessed labour party sharing money during election, the way PDP and APC did theirs openly and shamelessly.

Sadly, talk is cheap. The Nigerian public system is rigged against selflessness.

A man who wants to do the right thing will be laughed at and termed a fool.

Nigeria the country itself, has a faulty foundation. Even if the government chooses to do the right thing, the people would complain and go against their leaders for doing what is right.

The government builds a market, but the people still choose to sell in the middle of the road.

Even though it's a nice initiative, the impact on the people is rarely felt.

It's either the project is highjacked to favour a few or it's designed to siphon funds.
