3. As a man of another tribe, don't expect your Igbo wife to be a slave to you. We, her brothers sees this as insult to her personality.

4. Before you from a different tribe would have gotten a yes from your Igbo babe yopu must have begged and lied to the floor and do many things possible to win her heart, so remember that you have the obligation to treat her as a queen.

The worst you men from other tribes can do is to come on NL and say Igbo girls are this and that but the truth is that you just snubbed someone from your tribe to win her hearts.

+1000. I don't know about Igbo women that are getting upset but this is a compliment in my opinion. The OP tried to be a bigot and in my opinion, failed big time. What he described are Strong Women that refuse to take Sh*t from anyone including their husband. Who wants to be a door mat just because she's married. Who wants to be an abused woman just because she's married. What the OP narrated would be considered an insult only in areas known for women mistreatment (West/East/North Africa and Middle East). It is compliment everywhere else. Igbo women thank the OP because even though he tried to insult you, he didn't insult you, he complimented you. He put your behavior in the same league as western women.
