Thanks boss. Here is xiaomi response to my mail when I complained about how their service center here in Abuja is handling the issue.

It is stated on the mail their service centers only handle repairs that I should contact the reseller. The seller too is referring me back to the care center. What is my last option please?

You don't start business with extreme greed of making 120% income a year/ 1440% per annum.

Can you share your battery stats and have tried draining the battery and charging to full while turned off?

It was used to like 20% before fully recharging it boss. The phone has been re-registered at the care center for further investigation so, presently not with me

I bought redmi 14c last week and realized from day one that as soon as I unplug the phone, 1% of the battery must be reduced...

And every 4 minutes of usage, 1% of the phone's battery must drain/reduce....


I lodged complaint at xiaomi's care center. They told me that it is normal after much arguments I was asked to register the phone that a software would be installed on it to stop the battery drainage....

I returned to the care center yesterday to find out the problem has not been solved....



My question is this, is it normal for a brand new phone's battery to be draining fast like this? EVERY 4 MIN 1% MUST GO

Samsung S8 is not a brand new phone, don't mind that seller. You can't even get brand new (not packaged refurbished) S22 or S23 series of 2-3 years ago, let alone S8 of 2017.

For longer app support and better battery life, you can go for the Redmi 14C.
