Crime › NDLEA Arrests China-bound Businesswoman With 7.5kg Cocaine by damiloladuke(op): 8:43am On Jun 29*. Modified: 10:26am On Jun 29 |
A 38-year-old businesswoman, Iwebema Ogechi Peace, has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) following the discovery of a large consignment of cocaine concealed in the false bottom of her luggage while heading to Beijing, China, aboard a Qatar Airways flight through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Ikeja, Lagos. NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, disclosed the latest breakthroughs in a statement issued on Sunday, detailing a series of coordinated operations that led to multiple arrests and major drug seizures across the country. According to Babafemi, operatives arrested the businesswoman at the departure hall of Terminal 2 of the Lagos airport on June 21 while she was preparing to board a Qatar Airways flight to Beijing, China. Acting on credible intelligence, officers searched her luggage and uncovered four large parcels of cocaine weighing 7.5 kilograms concealed in a professionally constructed false compartment. The suspect reportedly told investigators she frequently travelled to China to purchase goods for sale in Nigeria. https://pmnewsnigeria.com/2026/06/28/ndlea-nabs-china-bound-businesswoman-with-7-5kg-cocaine-seizes-%E2%82%A612-3bn-cannabis/ nfpmod

esnbrutality: E shock you abi?
Keep focusing on IGBOs..while you are surrounded.
Remember this...
The NORTH built Lagos as Military HEAD Of States and when the time comes to make their move on Lagos, you will face the onslaught alone.
Tell them to respect their HOSTs
Southern unity is DEAD.
Nonsense Focus on your God forsaken region. This is a peaceful state. The report never said there were terrorist activities going at in the location. The address surely sprung out of his bank registrations and all so shut up |

Odewaleadesoye: Today is Children’s Day but many Nigerian children are not celebrating. They are living in fear instead of joy.
Insecurity is getting worse. Kidnapping is now common. People cannot even travel short distances without fear. Every journey feels like a risk. Every phone call at night brings fear.
Families are not at peace. Parents are worried every time their children leave home. Students are afraid. Workers are afraid. Farmers are afraid. Nobody feels safe anymore.
Life is becoming very hard. Food is expensive. Survival is difficult. And yet the fear of insecurity sits on top of everything like a heavy weight.
Government at all levels should focus more on protecting lives and property. Not politics. Not 2027. People are suffering now.
Please and please, help free these children and their teachers.
No child deserves this. No Nigerian deserves this.
We need safety again. We need peace again. This is a 2025 incident and it happened at an Islamic school

You wouldn't give such advise if you didn't take this path. Probably that was where you got your capital from in America before coming back home to start acting as a bad boss in Mollywood |

Darekiki: So when your leaders say rubbish or perpetrate uncultured attitude should we keep quite? Nothing stop us from correcting him since he knows how to post to make some feel they should has born earlier.. I have children and I am a family man. So I understand what he is saying. But the question is what is the value added at the end. I born at 26, u 29. So what? Oga rest. Before you were even born, the world has been making entertaining contents through music and plays. Life is not totally about gaining something from all activities. For your information, you don't even write correctly for someone who takes life too seriously. Your text reeks of grammatical blunders |
