If the soil you intend planting the plantain sucker on is naturally fertile you can start harvesting (cutting) and selling your plantain in 9 months time

It depend on the spacing you give the plantain sucker during planting on the farm land, that would tell how many plantain sucker the one acres land can hold. When spacing the sucker with two walking leg you can plant up to 1000 plantain sucker but when spacing with three walking leg you can plant upto 800 plantain sucker in one acres of land
