hey dania...ny detailed tips on d reg @ camp dat we shld know off? ...d lil things cause d biggest stress..

1. stuf lik is thr a specific background color for d passports we shld come along with (iv heard some camps only take red)
2. does green card date (whr u sign n write date on d green card slip) have to be d date u arrive at camp or js ny random date from d day u printed it online.

by the way if ur in lagos,a transportation company located at yaba called Cross Country offers transportation directly to d camp gate..it costs 5000 to umunya ...js left d place..wld go book 2mao.

And airtel network is the best in camp also. About the green card, we didn't have any in last batch so wudnt know, sorry.
The biggest stress is the reg process. But I'd advise to take ur time with the process.lol. Didnt start parade till Thursday. I hid all my stuff pretended I was still doing the reg.
It's all fun tho! Eventually u will get tired and can't wait to be done. I hope I answered ur questions?

De ja vu! Just like yesterday I had this same feeling. Was so anxious about what I'd see in Anambra I'm Dania, a batch C corper. I graduated from aau, ekpoma.
Tuesday and hopefully tomorrow we will continue with the cleaning of the camp. Boring job aswear.lol. Most corpers that are close to the camp it is mandatory for them.
What can I say? Just come prepared to the land of red sand! Come and have fun and make friends. Wish y'all the best and hoping to see some of u. U could check the previous threads for more info.

Have plenty stories to tell from the orientation camp to my ppa. I kinda rejected two ppas.lol. Funny story but let me share it.


The first ppa that's the original ppa it was addressed 'The chief medical director, kedi health care nigeria ltd'. Oboy! When I saw the letter I was overjoyed. As a warri girl, I don the rizn sey na so I go be Bigz gals from igbo land go back house.lol. I forgot to say it was in oyi but in ogbunike. We got the number of the so called director from the L.I and when we called the lady that picked said we should just stay put that she's sending her manager to pick us. Mehn! I don dy rizn high life, I just they thank God sey my suru don lere.lol. After waiting for over 3hrs,we didn't see any bike sef that was sent by the director, we finally got a text msg containing the address of the place. Mind you I was still having high hopes. We spent close to 150each to the place. We were 4 posted there plus our chaperone who is an older corper. The place was in one plaza. Its popularly called 'building materials'. We were told the last gate. We got there finally, we saw a man there. We told him we were looking for kedi health bla bla he said he has not heard of it. I just said 'ghen-ghen'. I called the manager, he said we should take the stairs. We climbed up hmmmmm... I saw the tiny shop with show glass with a handful of the so-called kedi products. I looked around, saw just the table, and about 4 chairs. The man welcomed us nicely. I looked at my other friend, she got the msg. The man told us about the kedi and it's uses. My mind just kept wandering. How was I gonna change my pm on bbm and tell my friends that I ended up here. The man went on and finally said 'you guys will be going about, telling pple about the drugs and selling it'. I looked at him and said ' sir, more like marketing?'. He said 'she understands'. I looked at him and all the high hopes I had crashed before my eyes. Me microbiologist fa? I just told the man ' oga abeg reject me'. They told us we were gonna be paid 10k monthly with accommodation, I didn't wanna even listen again. I asked him 'oga do we have targets?' he said 'hmmm, we do but it's not compulsory'. The man finally rejected me. I couldn't go back to the local govt cos twaz late. I got there the next day, that was wednesday. Our L.I was happy we rejected it, I'm yet to find out why sef. We wrote our names for another reposting. We wasted that day cos our Z.I said reposting letters were not ready from Awka. On Thursday we came back again, I finally got the manual reposting letter. It was a private school at umunya. Now I faced camp road.lol. For those that partook in the endurance trek, that spot we rested, I took bike from there to the school 'Harvest time schools'. To show how far it was I was charged 150naira. When we got close to the school, the bike-man asked me to get down. The school was actually on top of an hill. There was this hill we saw during the trek if y'all can remember that was it.lol. After the long climb and sweating I saw the principal panting. The principal a very pleasant old man was extremely nice. You could see pity in his eyes for me. Gave him my letter, he saw microbiology he said 'my dear, the lady sent just now is already taking biology and I know u can't take physics or chemistry' I was beaming with smile but couldn't show it.lol. The man said' I feel bad rejecting u, but I'm gonna write a letter to tell them why I'm rejecting u'. I didn't hessperit.lol. I heaved a big sigh of relief when he rejected and stamped the letter. The old man even offered me money as tfare. I rejected it tho. Very nice man! I rushed back to the local govt I was told they all went for a meeting. Friday came went there early, the Z.I was shouting why I was rejected again(very difficult man aswear). Everybody there got placement I was the last person standing. I just started thinking maybe my village pple are @ work.lol. This so-called difficult Z.I drove me to the school close to secretariat and signed my third reposting letter. I was favoured! I was still basking in the ambience of this new posting when I was told the principal was not on seat. That we have to wait till monday. My hope of going home that same day was dashed. I was sad! Going home and coming back was totally outta it. I waited...twaz the longest weekend. Monday came finally, I was accepted. I walked to and fro photocopying this and that. Finally, I was done. I didn't even wait for the accommodation details. The school had a lodge, I just said next year. Was in a haste to get home...

Pretty long, but that was my story!

They have accommodation and other stuffs. The school looks ok tho. Its a mixed school and it's govt. But my major problem is light and water, I heard that its a luxury in most areas in Anambra.
