GanagiBitrus: Scroll down the thread & see a Comment that the Cup should have been awarded to 3rd (Nigeria) &with many LIKES.
Look Bro, this has made a caricature of CAF in the eyes of the football world. They could have fined or sanctioned Senegal including a ban from future AFCON, but awarding the Trophy to Morocco is both senseless & ridiculous. I just still cant believe this is happening.I think something is seriously wrong with CAF.How do we expect the rest of the world to take us serious? |

Sports › Re: AFCON Final Result Overturned By CAF, Morrocco Announced As AFCON 2025 Winners! by daniwise(m): 6:44am On Mar 18 |
GanagiBitrus: Still on paper. Who scored Morocco's winning goals? Show me pictures of the players celebrating their trophy.
Imagine if both Morocco & Senegal were both stripped and the trophy handed over to Nigeria that came 3rd. You can't compare whatever feelings Nigerians will have with the Joy & Euphoria of actually winning the Trophy on the pitch. I personally won't even celebrate or recognise such. Reason Nigeria would have just been "WINNERS ON PAPER", which would just be for the records. Believe me most Nigerians wouldn't have entertained such senseless decision. |

belikewater: I hereby suggest that all West African countries boycott AFCON henceforth, we don't realise that the power is in our hands, there is no AFCON without the countries that choose to be represented in the competition, those sordid organizers need to be taught a lesson 'cos what manner of corruption is this? As far as I am concerned the winners of AFCON 2025 still remains Senegal! Exactly what I told my friends when we played Morocco.I still maintained same stand during the finals. These things are not rocket science. |
