Ichimoku has proven to be a very good indicator, babypips even attest to that when they backtested it against other indicators, it was the only oscillation indicator that came out with green pips.

But not everybody like their chart colorful, it's just a matter of preference.

Sometimes, i feel the word "price Action" is overrated, as much as we like PA trading, it doesn't mean we don't lose. Ichimoku and even Price Action Trading itself is based on previous past history, ichimoku provides a better view of price actions as it is called "one glance equilibrium" and it is a complete system because it covers all aspects of market including Money Management. Ichimoku Combined With PA AND Other Technical Methods Like Elliott Wave Theory, Price Action Patterns, etc can give you an edge in trading.... just my opinion..

everybody cannot trade PA.. some ppl tink PA PA PA PA... MM MM MM .... truth is, the market has humbled wall Street moguls, how much more we small retail folks.
