The death has been announced of Hon. Olade­jo Makinde who until his death was the minority leader of the Osun State House of As­sembly. The All Progressives Congress(APC) lawmaker, who rep­resented Ife Central Con­stituency, died on Sunday afternoon at Ekiti State Teaching Hospital, during an undisclosed illness. Makinde was a member of Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and was a former chairman of Ife Central Local Gov­ernment Area of the state. His remains have been de­posited at Ekiti State Teach­ing Hospital mortuary.
