Infinix recently introduced the Note 50 and Note 50 Pro, and now the brand is gearing up to launch the Note 50x later this month.

According to Infinix's Indian branch, the Note 50x will officially debut in India on March 27.

The image shared by Infinix India shows the phone in a white finish, while the version displayed on the brand's official website features a different color.

One standout feature of the Note 50x is its "Gem Cut" camera module on the back, paired with Active Halo Lighting, a next-gen smart lighting system designed to enhance user interactions.

This LED system will illuminate for notifications, display dynamic effects during game boot-up, and serve as both a charging indicator and a selfie timer.

Infinix plans to reveal more details about the Note 50x starting March 14.

Infinix is embracing bold innovation at this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC), drawing inspiration from the sky with its latest solar-powered technology.

The brand introduced a concept phone with an integrated solar panel on the back, along with a solar charging case.

Although both are still in the experimental phase, the functional prototypes on display hint at a promising future.

This innovation, called SolarEnergy-Reserving technology, relies on perovskite solar cells, a thinner, more cost-effective alternative to traditional silicon cells.

To optimize energy use, Infinix employs Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), which manages voltage and regulates heat, an essential feature when charging under direct sunlight.

Currently, the technology can deliver up to 2W of power, offering a convenient way to maintain a phone’s battery when not in active use.

The solar-powered phone is straightforward, but the solar charging case stands out. It connects to a prototype phone through small side contacts, delivering extra power when needed.

This detachable design makes it easy to switch to a regular case for night outings while providing a backup energy source during emergencies like power outages.

Infinix is also unveiling its second-generation color-changing E Ink phone.

Unlike its predecessor, which required external power to shift colors, the new model draws energy directly from the phone’s internal battery.

Users can now personalize the back panel with various patterns and color palettes, even using AI to generate designs based on photos or weather conditions.

With these groundbreaking concepts, Infinix is pushing the boundaries of smartphone technology, blending creativity with practical innovation.
