Kingsley Eduwo should have opened the scoring in the 32nd minute following a knock down from a corner only for Eduwo to miscue his effort before the Malian keeper pounced on the loose ball. Three minutes into the second half, Gabriel Okechukwu went close for the home-based Eagles but his shot from the edge of the box went wide. Nigeria Have been Beaten in their Final Group game at the ongoing FIBA Afrobasket Championship being held in Tunisia And Senegal. D'Tigers who Thrashed Mali Yesterday (90-67) came into the game to fight for the top spot in the group and led the Contest from the first quarter up till the third but their East African Counterparts Fought their way Back to snatch the win from Nigeria. Ike Diogu scored 21 points to lead the board but his efforts proved to be inadequate for the Reigning African Champions, Nigeria would Face the winner of group C in the quarter Final (Cameroon or Tunisia). Nigeria Might still need to watch out for the game between Mali And Ivory Coast as they can still be knocked out IF Mali Beat Ivory coast Massively , Something that looks almost Impossible.
