Former Newcastle and Chelsea striker Demba Ba has suffered a horrific leg break in the Chinese Super League derby clash between Shanghai Shenhua and Shanghai SIPG. The 31-year-old Shenhua striker went down after a seemingly innocuous tangle of legs with SIPG captain Sun Xiang in the 64th minute but it was immediately apparent that the Senegalese had broken his left leg. The sickening pictures - that bring back bad memories of Eduardo's horror break from Martin Taylor's challenge or the injury inflicted by Ryan Shawcross on Aaron Ramsey - show as Ba goes over his leg is at right angles to where it should be. The challenge from Xiang was clumsy but not sinister and the Shenhua frontman comes into difficulty when his studs get caught in the ground as he body twists towards the turf. A stumble from the former China international seems cause the break as he makes contact with Ba's ankle but the severity of the injury only becomes apparent once the striker goes down. With Ba looking set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines Shenhua will miss his nous in front of goal. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3694445/Former-Chelsea-striker-Demba-Ba-suffers-horror-leg-break-playing-Chinese-Super-League-outfit-Shanghai-Shenhua.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490

So, I'm a corper currently serving in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. On Tuesday morning on as i just got to CDS I got a message from Eco bank . "Dear Customer, due to circumstances beyond our control, Ecobank branches in Ado Ekiti have temporarily relocated to UNAD branch. Our e-channels remain available" Well, the e-channel hasnt worked for me either,I keep getting error when i try to log in, I don't have ATM sucks though. This morning I went to the UNAD(University of Ado Ekiti) branch only to find it locked in chains and people stranded outside. Right now, I'm yet to confirm if it affects just Ado Ekiti or the entire Ekiti state. It won't be convenient for so many people to start travelling to Akure just to use Eco bank.

https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320xq90/r/922/SR6XdR.jpg BANGKOK – A Thai man is recovering from a bloody encounter with a 10-foot python that slithered through the plumbing of his home and latched its jaws onto his penis as he was using a squat toilet. https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320xq90/r/921/uzSCIO.jpg Attaporn Boonmakchuay was smiling as Thai television stations interviewed him in his hospital bed about the intimate intrusion, and doctors said he would recover. But photos of his blood-splattered bathroom in Chachoengsao province, east of Bangkok, were testimony to his ordeal. The 38-year-old told Thai TV Channel 7 that he struggled to remove the snake for 30 minutes Wednesday before he managed to free himself with help from his wife and a neighbor. After his wife tied a rope around the snake, Attaporn pried open its jaws before passing out. Emergency workers dismantled the Asian-style squat toilet, with the python still twined through it. The snake was taken away to be released back into the wild, according to an emergency responder cited by the newspaper Thai Rath. Doctors said Attaporn, bloodied but unbowed, will recover. "He has a really good attitude... even though his own wife and children were in shock. He's been smiling and giving interviews all day from his bed." hospital director Dr. Chutima Pincharoen said. A 13-year-old boy who was left an outcast in his village in India because his head hung upside down has risked life changing surgery to straighten his neck. Mahendra Ahirwar suffers from a rare condition called congenital myopathy which has made his muscles in his neck so weak his head would hang at a 180-degree angle. His parents Mukesh Ahirwar, 41, and mother Sumitra Ahirwar, 36, spent years taking him to see doctors but no one could help. But now the teenager has undergone life-changing surgery by a former NHS surgeon after a mother-of-two from Liverpool set up a crowd-funding page raising £12,000 for treatment. Spinal surgeon Dr Rajagopalan Krishnan, from Apollo Hospital, in Delhi, performed the operation after Julie Jones made it possible.
