I am new here btw. My friend actually advised me to join Nairaland because I am planning to move to Canada.

I must say this is scary and touching at the same time to read.

Try to hang in there and be strong. There is light at the end of tunnel.

Let me say that it's not that easy anywhere in the world these days.

You just spoke the mind of the people here in diaspora. I have spent 40M on this journey. I can't go back home again so we have to keep moving. I have friends here that will start crying once it's close to end of the month cos they need to pay their rent for the new month. We eat what we see not what we like. I had to use scissors and cut my hair cos I don't have money to make my hair. I finally got a job after 4months of being here but I can't even get 20hrs in a wk. Sometimes, na 8hrs/wk.
If I screenshot my indeed application, e reach 50 na so so unfortunately I dey get.
