Kindly share your YouTube channel with us. How can we be trading stocks weekly? Are we going to be buying stock and dumping them weekly? Beeron: If you are below 50 years old. Follow this set up:
*50% MMF (Gains from here goes into buying the dip in Equity red days and other family expenses)
*30% Equity mutual funds (Money growth long term for bigger projects to be projected year on year, secondly this returns will always beat returns from MMF)
*15% Individual Stocks picking (Follow my YouTube channel for weekly stocks picks and make consistent gains on liquid large cap stocks, cash out and go enjoy your life with the gains or support your family, imagine making 6-9% on different stocks, patience is required too but gains will always be locked in)
*5% Emergency cash (You will always need this when all your money has been invested)
If you are above 50 years old:
*70% MMF (proceed should go towards building for rent and earn from that)
*20% Equity mutual funds (spread among best performing equity mutual fund, Cardinal stone is a must)
*10% Cash
If you are 60 years and above:
*80% MMF (proceed should towards building for rent and earn from that)
*20% Cash
If you lucky to have a son or daughter who support you with money, take the money and buy strong individual stocks and dividend paying stocks, even if you pass away, your kids will continue earning from the small change they usually give you. Inform them about the investment too |

Thanks for this. Why did you recommend Cardinal stone for stock trading as a beginner? Is it because CS has 'buy" and "sell" option? Beeron: I would have recommended Cardinal stone but you need atleast 150k to enable you begin to trade, Naaah, not everyone can afford that. Another is Meritrade by Meristem, too advanced and not all that beginner friendly.
I strongly recommend Trove or Bamboo.
Stay away from Afrivest app if you don't want to regret trading, because you will spend more time complaining to their customer support than trading.
After you join Trove or Bamboo, look for their Telegram community, they both have telegram community where customer support will quickly solve any app issues you encounter in real time. I am in those groups as well suggesting/recommending stocks and helping people out with their portfolio, both Nigeria and foreign stocks.
Trove customer support is more responsive on Telegram. |

To confirm, so I have to use investnaija app to access Paramount equity fund right? CSblackpink: Paramount is doing well, and the app is mobile-friendly. My advice is to stick to CS and maybe add Paramount. Zrosk is a bit pricey. |
Investment › Re: Equity Investment. by DataAnalyst2022: 4:43pm On Apr 14 |
Ok, thanks. You didn't complete the information on zrosk sir. What about paramount? What does their app look like? CSblackpink: Zrosk does not have a mobile app; you need to fill out a form on their website, and the onboarding process will be forwarded to you. Moreover, Zedcrest only works in Naija, the UK, and the USA. Lastly, Zrosk is |

Hi my people, Is it safe and is it not going to be cumbersome for me if I use web in signing up with Zedcrest and Zrosk? I can't download their apps due to my location. I want to be consistently investing by topping these accounts. Thank you all. CSblackpink: ZZCP( Zedcrest, Zrosk, Cardinal and Paramount are on top of their game. |

Do you know your curriculum at the college? If you don't know, ask the college about the curriculum for accounting program. If computer courses will not be part of your studies, I will advise to look for another program. The time of gambling this Canadian journey is over. What's the essence of spending multi million naira without PGWP? Evann: Hello house, please I need your opinion on this. I got admission to study accounting at a college in Ontario. Right now I am confused wether I will be eligible for pgwp. Going by the new eligibilty criteria for pgwp, accounting and computer science is the only one listed on ircc website. I don't know if they are seperate or together. Please your suggestion is needed, below is the link

Congratulations! I am happy for you. Btw, which province are you going to and which field are you in Tech? MarksmanD: PPR alert!!! My BVL dropped 24 hours before my PPR came. My application timeline was 13 weeks. There was no update on the New portal tracker and the tracker account I registered on. Even when my BVL dropped before the PPR. Nothing changed on the tracker. IRCC will humble you, but trust in Jesus, he's forever faithful and merciful.
I'm a first time applicant and I did my application process myself. I used the New portal. My POF documents alone was almost 100 pages. SOP documents was like 30 pages and I compressed it to 1.8mb. I used almost a month to write my SOP, because I needed to sell myself, not just as a mere student, but as someone who will make valuable contributions to the Canadian economy with my professional skills.
A total of 45k CAD was my budget for this application. Documents used: 1. GIC (20,650)
2. First semester tuition receipt (11k CAD)
3. Tuition balance in my domiciliary account(8k CAD)
4. Flight and ancillary expenses of 5k CAD.
5. 15 months payslips and invoices from previous employer to my current employer and side gigs. Bureau de Change deposit slips.
6. Housing deed of gift which was legalized by the court.
7. Promotion letters (I had like 3 promotions in a year and 5 payrise when I worked for some Nigerian companies). Reference letter as a volunteer for an NGO.
8. My sponsor notorized the sponsorship letter. He also sent the full money I needed to my account. He gave me a copy of his residency permit, passport data page, investment account statement, employment letter and work permit, payslips for a year and his most recent picture.
9. I used my parents as home ties. I hardly take pictures of myself and I had no recent picture with my family, so I used family pictures of when I was a teenager and I added a recent family picture which I wasn't in. I have a registered business which has never been operational since it was registered almost 2 years ago. I explained the reason my course program would give me the required skill needed in running the business when I return to Nigeria (I didn't submit a tax clearance because the business has never operated. But I submitted the CAC and shareholder documents).
10. Previous study visa rejection letter from another country's embassy. The admission letter of the school that admitted me (Still the same study program as in Canada. My study program is on the list of the programs Canada wants and would give PGWP for). The full tuition receipt I paid and the tuition refund receipt.
11. I'm in tech and I have been in the same job role for almost a decade. (I have worked remotely for companies in the top 10 tech countries in the world list). As a remote worker in Nigeria, you need to have multiple receiving accounts because of different clients and employers would give you their best option to send your money. I had 4 different foreign receiving accounts. I explained each and every transactions I got in them (I had lump sum transfers) and why I had 4 different receiving accounts and their pros. Even when I realized that I didn't attach some lump sum receipts to my POF documents 2 months after my application, I sent it with Webform and explained it.
12. My SOP explanation letter alone was almost 10 pages. I was truthful with my application. Where I had an error, I stated it and I showed proof on how the error came about.
13. I did upfront medical at Q-life because it was cheaper than IOM a week before I submitted my application.
This whole Canada thing was orchestrated and led by God, and all the glory, honor, and thanks belongs to him.
I acknowledge the effort of and I thank @Zubizareta and @JMG (Just Move Global), they patiently answered my questions on Whatsapp for free when I started this journey. Special thanks to others who answered my questions on Nairaland.
To others waiting, it's just a matter of time for your own testimony too in Jesus name. At a time I got tired of waiting. My admission process took over 2 months. My visa application process took over 3 months. Never stop praying and never stop trusting God. Please, be truthful in your application. If you are stuck and need help with your application, you can shoot me a mail and I'll try my best to reply to them. |

I am new here btw. My friend actually advised me to join Nairaland because I am planning to move to Canada. I must say this is scary and touching at the same time to read. Try to hang in there and be strong. There is light at the end of tunnel. Let me say that it's not that easy anywhere in the world these days. Bowluwahtifeh: You just spoke the mind of the people here in diaspora. I have spent 40M on this journey. I can't go back home again so we have to keep moving. I have friends here that will start crying once it's close to end of the month cos they need to pay their rent for the new month. We eat what we see not what we like. I had to use scissors and cut my hair cos I don't have money to make my hair. I finally got a job after 4months of being here but I can't even get 20hrs in a wk. Sometimes, na 8hrs/wk. If I screenshot my indeed application, e reach 50 na so so unfortunately I dey get. Ka saa ma dupe#sigh# |
