Politics › Re: APC 2027: Tinubu Names Yari Campaign DG, Uzodimma Secretary by datola: 12:54pm On Aug 22
Chachalogo:
Tinubu is only fooling himself. Abdul-Aziz Yari cannot sell him to northerners. Tinubu is very unpopular right now up north. Tinubu's best bet is SW and a few SS states.

Adeleke's public pronouncement that he's supporting Tinubu because his Yoruba will be another factor for the 2027 election. The election will be heavily regionalised. Yoruba governors are not the only ones who can support their own. Igbo governors too will support their own. Fulani governors too will support their own. That statement by Adeleke was a very big political mistake. You can argue it but fact is fact.
Yes. You are right. He should have just said he is supporting him because of performance and also as it is still Southern's turn.

But don't be too sure of other regional governors supporting their own.

Will Enugu, Imo, Ebonyi, Anambra support Obihuh

Will Northern governor support Atiku just because he's a Northernerhuh

Tinubu really favoured these present governors. All of them!

Politics › Re: Obasanjo Has No Electoral Value, Arewa Made Him President ’ – Atiku by datola:
Hard truth!

Obasanjo is just a favoured man. He can't win any election on his own. He has not even ever won any election inside his own polling unit in Abeokuta.

That is not to say Atiku is better than Obasanjo in performance. In fact the best for the job cannot win any election. That is is the dark side of the democracy.

Make sure whatever amount to intend to start sending is sustainable within the first 5 years without burden on your own finances or that of your own family (wife and kids) make them no begin blame your innocent wife when things begin tight and you begin reduce your hand . Since they receive pension; and you have the intention of sending 200k, half it in 3rd , 25k to Mom and 25k to pops every 2 weeks of every month, reinvest the remaining 150k in a mutual fund, eventually if they begin to complain it isn't enough, improve it gradually by 10k.meanwhile, the money you put in mutual funds will be multiplying, that extras , you withdraw and lavish it on them during anniversary or festivities. Rinse and repeat. Abi how you see m?
Chai! Children are becoming wicked to their parents these days after so much sacrifice.

He should suffer them with paltry N25,000 each when he has capacity and time to take good care of them..just because of future and blamming of the wfehuh

And when they are very old and pass away, celeberation will start with parties and many cows. A lot of a diasporian children won't be able to come home but will send big money for a 'befitting' burial.

Op, please spend on your parents as much as you have. Don't worry too much about tomorrow. Tomorrow will take care of itself so far you know what you are doing

RandDigital:
Was it Mandela or "Nigerians who liberated South Africans"? You guys should decide and let us know.

Anyway, your comment lacks historical context. Looting "enemy" property was embedded in the struggle against apartheid when the country was being "rendered ungovernable" against white businesses. Even Mandela knew this.

Same modus operandi today against foreign businesses.

Anyway, before you judge o👇🏾🇳🇬

Celebrities › Re: P-Square's Elder Brother, Henry Okoye Accuses Jude Of Tearing Family Apart by datola: 10:22am On Aug 08
IamPatriotic:
Mr. Henry obviously sacrificed so much for his younger siblings, including giving up his own education so they could have a better future. Sadly, this is the reality in many large families. The eldest, especially the first son, often has to put his own dreams on hold, join his father in trading or farming, and make enormous sacrifices so the younger ones can go to school and have opportunities he never had.
That is evidently the case with Mr. Henry. He sacrificed his youth and perhaps even his own dreams for his siblings, only for Jude to grow up and repay that sacrifice with ingratitude. That kind of betrayal must hurt deeply. 😤
And yet when people made it they forget their family that sacrifised for them claiming they want to build wealth and their wealth is for their immediate family

I agree that OAU is not ugly, but A students? Maybe in your department or faculty cool
You mean an average student can survive at Ifehuh He can mage to graduate with lower grade. That's fact!
Education › Re: 15 Largest Nigerian Federal Universities By Land Area by datola:

Ugly and dilapidated buildings
Uglyhuh Not OAU!

The university is an architectural master piece. That's why it IS called Africa's most beautiful campus..

It's not all about buildings and beauty though. But if you are not a majorly A student don't try admission at Ife because academic there is too rigorous.
