Omotosho of the Federal High Court, Kano on Thursday convicted and sentenced the duo of Emmanuel Moyi (a.k.a Abba Musa Bello) and Victor Ishaya to Twenty Thousand One Thousand Nine Hundred imprisonment respectively on six count charges of conspiracy and obtaining money under false pretence.

The convicts journey to prison started when the Commission received a petition from victims alleging that the convicts obtained several sums of money from them under the guise that they were going to give them employment and contract

A man has stunned people with his audacity after allowing some women to pound yam on his chest in a public place. This is the moment two woman were caught on camera pounding what appears to be yam on a man’s chest. A video making the rounds on the internet has shown the unbelievable moment.

In the video, a man is seen lying on the bare ground while two women stand over him pounding on his chest. According to Daily Trust, the bizarre incident occurred in a festival in Abuja.

The event is actually a Gbagyi festival and the man and women were just taking part in it.

Never one to back down under pressure, boxer Floyd Mayweather isn't quite standing in fear at a challenge from UFC champion Conor McGregor, even as he just won the UFC 205 in dominant fashion against Eddie Alvarez.

A popular Yoruba actress, Kudirat Ajimati, has passed away.

She died in the early hours of Tuesday.

The news of her death was announced by the Theatre Arts and Movie Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN),Ogun State chapter.

“It saddens our association, Theatre Arts and Movie Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN),Ogun State Chapter, to announce the untimely death of our beloved sister/colleague Kudirat Ajimat popularly known and called Ajimati.

“The news of her death got to us this morning as a shocker but we don’t have the power to stop God from doing what is right in HIS sight. Ajimat, we will seriously miss u and ur friendly lifestyle! Rest in Peace!”

Bereaved husband refuses to cancel his wedding plans following his bride’s death an hour to their wedding. When 43-year-old Fana Maphumulo woke up on Saturday, November 5, he was probably looking forward to the day that would see him become officially married to the love of his life.

As fate would have it, Fana’s plans did not come to pass, as his lover of about 20 years ended up not walking down the aisle with him, nor will she ever get the chance to do that. Fana’s fiancee, 42-year-old Nana Mkhize, reportedly died an hour before she was to become Mrs Maphumulo. According to reports, Nana had confided in Fana about a dream she had in October, where she had died on her wedding day, but they managed to wave the dream aside and continue with their wedding plans.

Nana who hails from the G section of Umlazi in South Durban, South Africa, was reportedly admitted at a hospital where she eventually died, on the eve of her wedding, after she complained of weakness. According to reports, even after guests who didn’t know about the bride’s death had gathered at the wedding venue, a brave Fana chose to continue with the wedding, asking the pastor to pray while he placed both wedding rings on his finger. Nana and Fana have four children together and had reportedly been planning their wedding for many years, before Nana’s eventual death on the D-day.
