I applied June 17th and Got my medical call up July 8th, Is the approval mail really compulsory, or am i going to receive an email from CIC, because a friend of mine did his and he got his approval mail before his passport was dispatched.

Goodmrning to you all... I have done my medicals already but i didnt receive an approval mail.. I am a Minor but when i tracked my status: It said ur procesed passport has been dispatched on 05/09/2015 Thats this august from Canada Visa Office, Accra to Canada Visa Application Centre, Does that mean i have been approved.. Kindly reply.. Thanks
