positivevibez:If you can trust me with your money I don't see why not. Just be prepared and reach out by 25th - 28th. |
Abduletudaye:That is what their customer care rep told me. And that they have no immediate plans of expanding coverage for now, but I should be patient as they might in the future. |

Tolu121:I swear it's the same thing here in PH, where we only read reviews about swift. |
iamoyindamola:Have you checked on Jumia? Spiderman is currently selling for $30 (11k) on Amazon, while Jumia has it for 10,500. So I would advise u stick to Jumia on that one, unless u come across one selling for <$20 then you can stick to Amazon. |
Michaelcas:No rush! |
crafteck:They are games every new PS4 owner would have eventually bought either way and I don't consider them all that old. Last year's pack was a Spiderman bundle. This one is for this year. That ad was released by Belk a few days ago, they begin sales from the 24th. |
crafteck:As u can see from Belk's black Friday ad attached below... It is coming with 3 games namely, The Last of Us, , Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War 3 Remastered (heard it might be swapped for the most recent GOW by black friday). So it's obviously a very sweet deal!

They claim to be Economic and Financial Crimes commission but they never go after politicians that are committing the most Economic and Financial Crimes. If not for God ehn! It's yahoo that I will do |
otipoju:Thanks! |
crafteck:First off, the bundle that is gonna be on sale comes with 3 exclusive games, plus a 1TB Slim, whose equivalent on Jumia is 126k - 156k. The consoles you mentioned that sells for 100-105k on Jumia are the older PS4 models and even the cheapest slim is a 500gb model that sells for 112k. Yes there are rare occasions when u do get a faulty console but the chances of that is on the very slim side, as it's not something that happens often. But yes! There is a slim risk of getting a faulty item but even at that, most freight forwarders do handle returns of faulty items, so returning it is not entirely out of the question. Am not forcing anyone, but from my point of view, the pros does outweigh the cons. 2 months ago I got a brand new Samsung Galaxy S8+ for 75k + 5k shipping from Amazon and it has been working flawlessly without a hitch. Bottom line is there is always a risk to everything in life. |
I know the article is a little rushed but if u do have any questions do well to drop them, am personally getting one myself! |
Black Friday and Cyber Monday are coming up, bringing endless bargains that will ensure a busy period of sales. It’s the best time of the year to get your Christmas shopping done and save money on some expensive tech, since you’ll see all sorts of devices, from consoles to 4K TVs, going cheap. When is Black Friday 2019? Each year, Black Friday commences the Friday after American Thanksgiving. This US national holiday is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November and Black Friday takes place the very next day. In 2019 Thanksgiving is coming a bit later in the month than usual, falling on November 28th. That means if you’re after all the best Black Friday deals, November 29th is the date you’ll need to mark on your calendar, that and the Monday after that (which is Cyber Monday). And if like me you have had you sight on the Playstation 4, that would be the best time to get yourself a console at a bargaining price. Usually a standard slim PS4 sells for $270 - $299 (98k - 108k) but on Black Friday it is usually discounted to $199 (72k) and most retailers throw in an extra game if it's a bundle. And this year is no different... actually, rumour has it that this year's bundle will be coming with 3 games (God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn & The Last of Us) as a means of selling out the PS4 before the arrival of the PS5. Am not sure as to how true that is but fingers crossed! How to Order One On Black Friday. You've got several retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, eBay, Newegg e.t.c. to chose from, but I'll recommend going with Amazon. Just load your naira debit/credit card account with an equivalent of 75k, then head over to Amazon and create and account if you don't already have one. Then wait until at least the 15th of November, then sign up for Amazon Prime Trial (which will give you the benefits of a prime member for 30days free of charge, just remember to cancel renewal after your trial expires). The reason for a Prime membership is because most deals are available to prime members 30mins before it finally goes live for everyone, meaning if you wait it out as a normal Amazon member, the deals might buyout of stick before it finally goes live. After that head over to the deals of the day section (and the lightning deals section) from the 23rd to the 29th which is Black Friday, Once it goes live be sure to place an order immediately! On how to ship it to your current location, don't use the Amazon direct shipping option, that will cost your a lot. Get a US address from either @paylessnigeria or @mayorall (they are credible 3rd party freight forwarders on Nairaland). I've personally used @PaylessNigeria but I hear @Mayorall is also very good. So get and address from them and use it at checkout, you console will be shipped to them and they will ship it down to Lagos where u can go pick it up or waybill it to your designated location. I believe you can pay them when your parcel arrives in Naija. Shipping fee with them cost around $40 - $45 (15k - 18k), which when added to the cost of the console is still cheaper than a new console on Jumia or anywhere in Naija for that matter.

It's a simple matter of misconception. When the average Nigerian hears the word "Video Games" they automatically associate a childish first generation video game they might have come across while growing up, and that usually puts them off. Until recently, I had these group of friends who when I made mention of buying a PS4 for as high as 100k made fun of the idea, believing that video games were for kids and a total waste of time and money. I had to borrow a PS4 from a friend and had them watch me play The Last of Us, Spiderman, God of War and FIFA 19, after a while they were all eager to try it out. I had to pry it out of their hands just to return it. They later confessed that they didn't realize just how realistic it looked and how engrossing it was to play a current generation game. So it all boils down to people's misconception. |
