Before I list these 4 mistakes that made me lost $500 in the crypto business, I would love to share a brief story on how it all began.

Back then, (this should be around 2021/2022) I was very passionate to make money online as a youngster but don't know my way around the online space.

Anyways, I had a classmate then, who happened to be my friend due to how close and easy going he was.
This my friend usually have this weird conversation with most people (his other friends) talking about BITCOIN and some crypto terms that confuses me alot.. so, since this is none of my business, I just keep skipping it off me because it doesn't make any sense to me and whenever I ask him most times, he usually tells me it is about online money, which they buy and sell online and get their profit. Understanding this increased the confusion and it became even worst. Even though he seems to notice my confusion he wouldn't even bother to explain it more detailed for me to understand or even help me his friend.

So as time went by and I began to notice how they usually jubilate over this so called crypto, based on the profit they made..
Finally I decided to take my stand and grab this opportunity, like I said before, I'm really passionate about making money online, just that I don't know how to go about it.

I went to him (my friend) and told him to teach me this crypto stuff so I can make profit like he and his friends. And guess what he told me?
He said: "David, am not a teacher, and crypto itself is very vast, I don't know were to start but I'll show you shortcut on how you can understand this crypto stuff just as we did and you can be making money that way".

I considered what he said, I thought about it and was like "well, since he didn't say "teach me shortcut" but "show me shortcut" just to understand it the way he and his fellow colleagues did, and they are able to make profit from it, then let me give it a try".

So I told him am ready and then he began:

Well, my friend explained alot to me based on how much he could go, I questioned him about Airdrop, I said "What is Airdrop"? He just told me it is free coins, but I have to work hard for it, by mining, referring people and even coming to claim it every hour/day (depending)..

Which I did but I lost more coins than I should gain, because at the end, most airdrop will tell you to pay for "gas fee" which will require me to buy with the little money I had and transfer it to their wallet, and in all, some will turn out to be scam, while some after receiving it, won't even be listed and I can't withdraw my money.

And then my friend will comfort me, "that it is a normal thing to lose money in crypto and get scammed, and I shouldn't cry over it".

Oh God! 😭

In summary, I started trading crypto with the mindset that, that is how the crypto business works..

So with time as I kept pushing in the crypto business, hoping to make profit, I came to understand that my friend and his colleges lose alot of money but they won't tell me about it, instead, they mostly speak out when they make profit. But despite all these, I made 4mistakes that lead me to lose over $500 dollars in the crypto business which includes:

😓 Little or no knowledge about crypto: I moved on to trade in crypto with that knowledge I got from my friend, thinking that was all about crypto; and I can make much profit with such knowledge.
Instead I lose more money.

😓 And then because I had little money with me, I went off to borrow more money to buy coins when the candle is red, hoping to make more profit and pay back the money immediately, putting me in the risk of becoming a debtor

😓 I had no professional mentor or mentorship, I only ask questions and get answers from amateurs or people that I think they know much, where as they know little.

😓 I wasn't warned about crypto scammers who disguised as crypto vendors.. So I made transactions with them, which they end up scamming me..

And that was how I lost over $500 in crypto business.

I wept so much, I cried like a baby, I cursed them and wished them death.. It was so painful. After mourning myself for years, I made the decision not to do crypto again and even though I'm to go into crypto again, how am I supposed to find a professional? Someone that knows what he is doing? And even though I find a professional, how am I suppose to trust him? what if he is a scammer in disguise?

All these thoughts came on me I became scared, yet, I still feel this spark of passion in me to go back and try again..

🤩 I went further and raised students who benefited positively (I can't just sit by and refuse to show others the way, it's selfishness).

🤩 Hit my first 1million and am just shocked how possible that was. God did.

🤩 There are many more, but these are few of it.

Since then God has been helping me, I haven't reached Elon Musk yet but am hoping to reach there..😂
