The University grading system is even a problem compare to the Polytechnic grading system. In the university, it is possible for a student to score below average and still make a second class lower (e. g 3.49 - 2.40 out of 5. 0 points) that means if you score a GPA of 2.4/5.0 that second class lower. But in poly it not so u most score above average to have lower credit (e.g 2.99 - 2.50 out of 4.0 points). I finished my HND With a lower credit even the lower credit I struggled to get it from Petroleum Training Institute(PTI) and 7 years later while working and schooling without stress I got a strong 2.1, second class upper with a GPA of 4.38 and some people will come and display their ignorance and say that 3rd class is better than HND.

congratulations. aiming for PhD depends on your career path. however, I will advice you to proceed with your PhD in federal or state universities rather at NOUN. This is for future reference so that you won't be clamouring and protesting against discrimination.

I don't thing is about your certificates or your grade, I think most time is about who you know and the level of ur connection and in the extreme cases, one need to depend on God's favour to get a Job in Nigeria. My wife finish from University of Ilorin with second class upper in Industrial Chemistry in 2010, and MSc. from Unilag in Environmental Chemistry and yet she is yet to get a job. note the sch she finish from Unilorin and Unilag both schools are classified as one of the best university in Nigeria. Ironically, her room mate and course mate that had a 3rd class have been working in a reputable organisation since 2012 and she with her 2.1 and MSc she is yet to get one.

Please my dear friend I advise you if you need your MBA urgently after graduation, start considering other schools like unilag or UI or any other University apart from Lasu, I finished my MBA since 2013 and non of my set even have To whom it may Concern talk less of having any result to show for it. LASU is the worst institution in Nigeria. Even the set before me don't even have their results yet

Please did any body receive invitation for interview from Union Bank, I wrote the test last year Feb 2012 conducted by Dragnet and they sent me my score 1 week later that i got 42% since then I have not hear from them and they just sent an invitation for interview yesterday.
