I have been a very active member of this thread. I have come to see how your so-called criticisms have panned out. Grezimann, Coutinho, Dembele and other high profile flops have been here and you never descended on them the way you did yesterday.

The only Barcelona player I've NEVER criticised is Don Andreas Iniesta.

In case you don't know, I was the chief orchestrator of #PasstoMessi on this thread, and that was to spite Dembele, Coutinho and Griezmann.

The player recognized he hasn't done well infront of goal and was literally in tears after the game yet the barrage of criticisms continued to pour in. You seem not to like the player from the start. You never criticised Dembele like this.

This is Barcelona. If you perform well, we'll praise you to the high heavens. If you perform poorly, we'll criticise you to the core.

Even GOAT Messi has been criticised here, so who the hell is Dembele? Àbí you want us to dig out comments. Tell me a Barca player that hasn't been criticised for poor performance.

Go to Chelsea thread and see confirm criticism of their players. Lukaku wey dem buy for almost 100m is feeling the heat. Havertz kor? Ziyech, name them. That's why that club is doing well.

But we shouldn't criticise Ferran because of link-up but zero output? Or because he's played less than 10 matches shey? No wonder we are now struggling to win trophies. We love to celebrate mediocrity.

The joke is on the fans here that are criticising Torres that hasn't lasted up to 2 months in the club for missing chances simply because we bought him 55million. Dembele was bought for over 140million and after 4 and half years at the club, he can't boast up to 30 goals...

Criticism is part of life. I'm 100% sure that every football pundit will criticise Ferran's tonight's poor performance at goal.

I don't want him to end up like Dembele and Coutinho after their huge price tag.

I think we should calm down with this Ferran Torres crucifixion. Fine he cost us at least 3 goals but he was the only active attacker we had in the match asides Dembele (which was a sub).

The guy was overly wasteful tonight but why we dey out body for am na cos Aubameyang was literally useless too sef. What did Auba do with his time in the pitch. All the intelligent runs, finding spaces and getting into the box was all Torres.

If you watched, there was no single cross that happened on the pitch that Torres wasn't in the box except when Luuk Came in. Even at that he was always around. Even Adama wey we dey hype sef was totally mute.
Fine he was marked by two players but his passes was piss poor and his reading of the game was subpar. They were instances were he could have laid off a pass to free a player but he hesitated and later lost the ball. The fvvk was that for.

At least Ferran had his runs, link up and spaces.

Baba, jury is out on Ferran whether you like it or not. We've been fooled twice with Coutinho and Dembele. We can only hope that Ferran doesn't end up like them.

Because if Ferran clicks and Fati is fit, our attack will be so hot and goals will flow from every area of the pitch.

Also, the complete domination of the midfield was superb. Pedri showed absolute class. Gavi appearing to be Ramos with a fine face, nice organization from Busi and FDJ.

Dembele is only good when the opposition team is getting tired. That's why he shines as a sub.

Trust me I know his weak point and finishing is not it. If you see a player who will position himself well and link up with the forward you have hope that the finishing will come back. This is a lie. I support City and Guardiola refused to sell Ferran until the player asked to leave. Phil Foden misses chances far worse than anything Ferran has missed today. Rather than complain about the chances what about his positioning and linkup play?

He asked to leave because he was being benched. EOD.
