Almost 6 months ago I gave a prominent politician my cv. He is claiming that he’s still trying to get me a job. We communicate through text and he doesn’t even owe me anything. He just wants to help. He replies my texts sometimes and he doesn’t some times. Although I try not to disturb. Beginning of this month, I still sent him a text and he claimed he submitted my cv to some organizations and he’s waiting for feedback (appointment letter) from them the following week. This is the last week of the month and I have not heard anything. A lot of places have recruited or replaced within the last 6 months and he’s still telling me that I should bear with him and that he will soon get me a place. Please does it make sense at this point to still put hope or I should just move on and look for someone else?
