kaludestiny10: Lagos state is still learning where Rivers state is in terms of heaps of refuse. Many parts of Rivers state now stink meanwhile, governance have been refused to our LEADERS STRUCTURE.
AMINDA: This is what happens when an incumbent party believes they will always win the elections no matter how poorly they govern. There's no incentive to do the right thing, except maybe the fear of God. Lagos is a victim of godfatherism and "baba sopé" politics. Dead bodies now litter the streets for days and are left unattended. It's surreal. Lagos maybe a hair's breath away from an environmental pandemic.
Shockingly Mad people now roam the street of Lagos. Unlike before
A Polite Appeal to the Alimosho Local Government LAWMA and The Lagos State Government
About two months ago, I drove through this axis in Ayobo, Alimosho, Lagos, and noticed this heap of refuse piled along the main road.
I passed through the same road again today, and unfortunately, the refuse is still there and appears to have continued accumulating.
This post is not to attack or blame anyone. It is simply a respectful call for attention and action.
I kindly appeal to the Alimosho Local Government, Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, LAWMA, Lagos State Government, and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to please look into this situation.
Beyond evacuating the refuse, there is also a need for a sustainable measure to prevent the location from becoming a permanent dumpsite.
