Rwanda is one of the topmost tourist destinations in Africa. I don't give a damn about opposition leaders when the person in power is achieving results. As far as I am concerned, he or she may be a stooge, supported by the west. Afterall, the west supported opposition in Libya, see where it's now, the ousted Milton Obote and replaced him with Idi Amin (just imagine), they killed Thomas Sankara and replaced him with Blaise Campore who raped his country for almost 30 years under the supervision of France who were just sent out of Burkina Faso. Please I am tired, we can go on till tomorrow. We want good go ernance, it is what we should be clamouring for not the rights of opposition leaders to contest.

There was this man called Dadiyata that used to attack Elrufai, one day he disappeared. Oga, we, with our four year rotational system perpetrate worse human right violation than Kagame can perpetrate in 10 lifetimes. Did Kagame order agberos to destroy ballot boxes and scare away voter from polling units on election day, did he go about tampering with softwares and data to establish himself as winner? He is too popular to do that. Please, leave the Rwandans alone, they have made their choice and the best we can do is respect it!

If you read the comments I made initially, I said the only people who stand to gain from a rotational system of government are politicians, most of whom are queuing up, waiting for an opportunity to rape the country. When you have a leader who is working hard to fix their country, you are sure to find such desperate politicians fighting them. They are not necessarily fighting for the well being of the country, they just want to have their own opportunity to rule for the sake of ruling. They opposed Gaddafi, they opposed Mao, they opposed Lee Kwan Yew and Kagame is not going to be an exception. In all these cases, they were dealt with decisively. When you lead for decades, the west will even support some of these people to stage coups against you, or if you show signs of weakness, they may arm them to rebel against you, when they fail, you will see them using Human Rights Watch and The Guardian to call you names, but the JAMB question is do the country men /women of these leaders want them in power? If they are rated high by their people, they should continue leading. If China or Singapore etc had succumbed to the allegation of human rights violation, their countries wouldn't be where they are today. Lee Kwan Yew jailed journalists and locked up opponents and Mao killed opponents too, but for the greater good of their countries.
The west who you admire are not saints, there are human rights violations they perpetrate too. Edward Snowden and Julian Assange are in exile today and we know why. What about Guantanamo bay and Iraq? They should stop disturbing us with unsolicited lectures on upholding human rights.

No. The problem is this political machinery called APC. It is founded on very narrow and prebendary principles. I believe it's more of the NPC of the 60s whose cardinal principle was North first but whose goal was the acquisition of power.
APC has achieved a convergence of politicians around the allure of power and its trappings while engendering the divergence of the populace on primordial ground that the leaders and enablers of APC do not allow among themselves.

As for Tinubu, he's the most opportunistic politician we have had in this country. He has no qualms bending to any sentiments as long as it aligns with his interest. His abrogation of the success of Lagos to himself and repudiation of the Buhari presidency was crass opportunism. Same with his Muslim Muslim fanatical ticket which he doesn't even believe in. Tell me, do you think if Tinubu was governor of Osun or Ekiti, he should fare better than those who governed those states? Has Lagos suffered a dearth of good administrators before Tinubu? Tinubu's bigoted and biased followers will be quick to claim Tinubu made Lagos the fourth largest economy in Africa without pointing to any policy that made that happen but they forget that Lagos is a microcosm of Nigeria and is affected by whatever befalls Nigeria whether good or bad. Look at what's happening now. With his massive failure at the national level, his supporters are understanding and reflective; a benefit they never extended for any of his predecessors. The earlier reasonable people start to speak up against APC the better for the country.

If the country works well then that's fine. How did Obj handing over to Yar'dua and then to GEJ and then to Buhari and Tinubu favour you? If OBJ retained power and Nigeria worked superbly well, how will that even be a problem? China got to where they are because Mao stayed in power for like 25 years. Singapore got this far because Lee Kwan Yew stayed in power for about 30 years. Kagame staying in power for about 30 years is serving Rwanda well too. Oyinbo deceived you into accepting democracy without any foundation, one president will be in power for 4 years and before he knows what's happening, it's time to leave, and in comes another one that will destroy everything he worked to build. We will never get anywhere that way!

Evidence at hand! Go to any social media, say Quora and ask about how Kagame is performing, out of 10 Rwandans replying you, 9 will rate him well. Kagame has a far, far better popularity rating among Rwandans than balablu has among Nigerians.

Majority of Rwandans love Mugabe. Ruling since 2000 is not a problem if the leader is achieving results. Rotation of power after 4 or 6 or 8 years only favours politicians that are queuing up to rape your country.
