I noticed that in the email confirming submission of application, it's advised to apply for housing even before getting an offer since the housing is competitive. Do we (MCF applicants) need to apply? There is a $50 application fee.

I also noticed the same thing in the email sent to me. I think it is better to hold on since the scholarship covers accommodation expenses and we are not supposed to pay for it if we get the scholarship.

It means you are to fill in the referee's email address in your application. A link is then sent to the referee's email for him/her to fill in their reference.

You can use ms word. Click on the word count and it will show other counts like character count with and without spaces

I was asked to upload the Statement of Purpose as a pdf file so no word count was indicated.
