hello house, please i'd like to ask an urgent question. So a friend of mine is currently on the waiting list for chancekarte but presently realized he has misplaced his primary school certificate and his primary school has shut down. so what can he do? He is currently passing through the skilled worker route. Is the primary school certificate compulsory? and can they decline a visa due to not having it, even when he has a degree in Information systems?

Seems they're moving slow again.
Even Ghana consulate is now 35weeks waiting period.
Seems most people will now have to apply for the Opportunity card route and later convert to a student visa on getting to Germany.

did the embassy drop any AD cos idk if they are moving slow again

I hate to be a bother, but please does this imply that the opportunity card isn't quite as promising as the study route? I'm just confused because 1 year + is a long time, and I also don't want to jump into opportunity card because of it's faster timeline only to see it's not worth it.

Just go to your primary school, and explain to them, they will definitely give you something that will deemed fit

No, you apply now, secure an admission. Then when you get your appointment date, you can complete application through the portal. If your appointment date doesn't come this year, early next year it would. Main goal is to secure admission first and start gathering funds for the blocked account or look for a sponsor.

It's nice to see someone who also applied in 2024, the wait is tough but it's gonna be fortunate for us all.

Embassy is currently on June 2023(i think)
I registered April 2024, Currently with the pace it's best to start seeking admission now. cos based on calculations they might enter 2024 this year hopefully. New application for winter semester starts from march or april and afterwards gather necessary documents and funds. If it doesn't come this year, you can always defer or start applying for schools in october knowing for sure early next year you are getting called.

I booked for student visa around march, 2024. Last I heard the embassy is in 2023 currently, I am not sure what month. My question is... Or rather... My questions are.. please do bear with me since I am clueless but will keep researching on my own but I need others' wisdom and experience.
*I should be expecting my letter from next year?
*This new way of collecting our documents online, it's good but if I don't upload my documents before this year ends, does that mean I am automatically removed from the queue? Because that block account will be tricky especially if they give me a waiting time of a year.
*I don't mind waiting since I am doing things like learning skills and working to keep myself busy! Because I heard 24 months waiting period.
*When should I start looking for schools in Germany??

but what about us that don't have first school leaving certificate. I went to a private primary school, stopped at primary 5 afterwards went to sec school. oh chim

i wasn’t asked for BECE, but i also submitted my First School leaving certificate. and my WAEC, and that was okay.

Is this a new requirement cos i don't remember collecting my junior waec result from my school.

BECE is JSS3, some call it 'Junior WAEC'

Opportunity card is faster at the moment. You can use it, then convert to study visa when you get to Deutschland

You can't use the same SL for both. The reason for your visa has to be stated. For block accounts, the amount is also not the same. Note that medical doctors need to write certain exams in Germany, and you can't practice without C1 German. So weigh your options and decide on one

i do know about all the necessary information as regards to working as a doctor in germany. I intend to pursue non- clinical roles as i have a background in software engineering also. was just asking generally what route is preferrable. opportunity card or study route. I am at cross roads that's why. thanks for the response.

i need an advise on something. so i am a medical doctor and my degree is recognized in the anabin database. should i just apply through opportunity card or just wait for when i get appointment date for study visa appointment. I really want to do a masters but at the same time since everything is fast paced. idk which route to take.

good day does anyone know anyone that has gotten appointment through opportunity card. And also the portal says waiting time is at about 1-2 weeks. so how to book? cos i got an email earlier saying i should go to the portal to book an appointment since i am on the waitlist.
