Hello @Hotstepper.

Good morning.

Weldone! You have helped a lot of people on this thread (myself inclusive silently lol). God bless you.

I’ll like to please suggest that we create links on page 1 like i have seen on some threads, to sort of help people with same questions over and over again. That way its easier to have them go to page 1 to look up answers they seek.

Questions centered around best hospital options in some provinces
Doctors
Doctors numbers
Doctors fees
Birth certificate when the baby arrives
How to go about the visa application and possible documents to equip ones self with
POE testimonies/questions
Etc.

I don’t mind assisting you, should you need help and any other person who likes to gather information as well can join.

Ps: I don’t know how to create links on Nairaland. But i can help with the gathering of information. This is just to make it easier for people coming ahead and to also keep the thread alive.

God bless you

I believe it should be where you are applying from. Requirements for TRV vary depending on which country you are applying from.

Good morning seniors,

Please i saw something on misrepresentation posted here yesterday.

And one of the things i read was ‘failure to notify that you applied for visa can count as misrepresentation “.

I applied for a visa first week in August, then my husband did the whole PR thing and we just submitted this September (meaning he is the PA, not me).

However, we didn’t state that i applied for visa (we didn’t think it necessary because my application is still pending, im NOT the PA and I haven’t been granted or denied the visa) .

But ive been advised that hubby should raise a CSE just to be on the on the safe side. Now in raising this CSE, we came across this “Is your application is being processed inside or outside Canada”. Do we click yes or no? Im confused on whether they mean where we are applying from, or where our VO is (which i dont know).

Please kindly respond. Thank you all

Hello,

Im not an expert. But from what the experts have advised which can also be found on page 1, since you’re the Primary Applicant, why not go back on your form amd click NO in work experience for your husband.

Then in the current form (Post ITA) Move your husbands work history to personal history and list all the jobs he has done there, including this bank.

But to be further convinced. Please visit page one of this thread. Keep scrolling till you see this issue. It has been answered there

speak2inspire:
Elders in the house, pls I and my husband urgently need your assistance to complete our post ITA profile.

We go ITA during the last two draws. I am the PA. While completing our post ITA profile, we have to complete my husband work history section and provide references.

The problem now is that my husband was wrongfully dismissed from the bank in 2016 after 9 years of Meritorious service.
Pls our ITA completion date is ticking, we urgently need advise on what to do now.

The cut off for the last 2 draws that have come, have been 440 i believe.

So best to set your benchmark for 440. Cheers

Please if you got ITA on the 22nd of this Month, and you want to join a Telegram group (to support each other). Kindly send me a PM. One has already been set up. Thank you.

Hello, congratulations on your visa.

I think you’ll need to search within the thread for test results, costs, doctors, fees, phone numbers etc.

I also did the same and managed to take a screenshot of everything so that when i get my visa (by Gods grace) im prepared.

How i got the information from the thread is a bit scattered because i had to read back several pages and was taking screenshots along the way. You can PM me and ill share the screenshots with you maybe that’ll help.

As for getting an agent to get you a cheap flight I don’t know much on that. But from what i have read on other threads about traveling to canada. Many have said Egypt Air and Turkish Air are very affordable. So you can check those 2 out. Or better still, download skyscanner and check the offers there. Good luck

1.Please I need a genuine agent that can help me with travel ticket to Toronto for between 400-450k, I dont mind the number of stops

2.between Brampton and North York, where I'm I likely to get the cheapest hospital deals, as I have my sister in North York and my brother in-law in Brampton, this is to help me determine where to stay between the 2.

3.Is there any insurance package that one can pay for monthly and will cover Childbirth

Na real war o. Ours was at Children's hospital yesterday, we met a brother that came all the way from PH. Be sure to get there around 8am cause they wont let you in before then. I also think booking an appointment helps cause even though there were people that got there before us our name was 2nd on the list. Post the link when you create the group grin

For those who were pregnant and have gone through this process, how did you go about your medicals? In terms of the xray part? Im just checking to be double sure that everything is alright. Thank you

TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by Demi007: 4:35pm On Aug 10, 2018
Hello, good afternoon. In the reasons for traveling etc. it has visiting etc, etc. so i picked that.

Then, there was another place where i indicated/typed birth. You’ll get to it when filling the form.

Lastly, i also included it in a letter that i wrote. Stating childbirth and giving them reasons that I’ll be foming back home. (Job & Family/Husband).

Hope that helps

Hello everyone. Good morning.

We’ve been awfully quiet here. Anyone trying to apply for visa to go and have tbeir baby in Canada? Anyone currently on their way? Anyone who just got there? Anyone battling doctors etc? Anyone who just had their baby?

Im just trying to follow up.

Ps: sent in my application this week (didn’t give a reason for choosing Canada as a birth place for my baby in my LOE) but I’m looking to God and hoping for the best. Whatever the outcome may be. Have a wonderful day.

GRACE FOUND ME
I will worship Him forever, Love Him forever, This God is too good oo (Nathaniel Bassey)

I discovered this family after I had already submitted my application......

This journey started in earnest December 2017. FAMILY OF 4
Got the magic IELTS score April 21 sitting LSWR. 8.5,7.5,7,8.5. Updated my profile May 13th, CRS 466.

ITA... MAY 23RD
AOR.....JULY 3RD
MEP/IP1.....JULY 18TH
IP2.......... AUGUST 7TH
PPR..... AUGUST 9TH

Before I submitted my application, I told God that my case MUST be different. What took others 6months will take me maximum 6 weeks( He even exceeded my expectations) cos my rent expires in September.
I stood on Jeremiah 1:11- 12 (I see a speedy ppr, and He will hasten His word and perform it.) & Luke 18:27...(my desire is possible with God)..... Focused on praying for God's kingdom alone while believing...Matt 6:33..
Pardon my sermon cheesy.....but JESUS IS LORD

POF:- I used a notarized copy of deed of sale agreement only, bank statement and reference letter. An LOE explaining one of the huge payment into my account......

WORK EXPERIENCE.....just used a general "to whom it may concern" reference letter from company not in "cic format". No payslip or any other document.

Lessons Learned...
1. FAITH WORKS!!
2. Make ur application as simple as possible
3. Your application is different.

GRACE FOUND ME!!

Pardon any typo.

So basically, you’ll have to do what we all did here. Which is to go back on the thread and read from the beginning thoroughly.

After which you can proceed to apply for your visa (if you already haven’t started that).

We also have been advised that its best to be honest upfront about your intentions when applying. That is, stating on your application that you’ll be coming for vacation and medicals.

Some people didn’t state medicals when they were applying, but decided to declare at POE (Point of Entry). But, if you’re like me, and you don’t have that kind of mind, I’ll suggest you make your intentions known upfront when applying.

Also, there are a few Doctors that have been listed on the thread, together with cost breakdown. Most of the costs have ranged from 5000 CAD - 7000 CAD (it is advisable to have more money than that though, as you never know).

Furthermore, some people also advised to create a budget sheet. I had to rack my brain on what that was as no one here ever uploaded what theirs looked like. I finally figured it out on the USA birth thread and followed the instructions on how to create one. So the budget sheet is basically a paper document, showing the cost breakdown of what you will be spending in Canada. Ofcourse, the total sum plus extra change should reflect in your bank statement.

I hope ive been able to help a bit. Sorry for the long message. Goodluck to you (goodluck to me as well. Lol)

Cheers

Still expecting a response please. Anyone?

Thank you

Demi007:
Thanks for your response. I already made up my mind after aquaboss responded that I’ll include it in my application (online)

I have follow up questions though.

1.) do i need to include an appointment letter from a Dr? Because, from all that i have read on the thread (recent posts) Drs haven’t been picking up (even i have tried to call severally). Also, People get hung up on by the secretaries of the Dr’ etc.

I just want to know if I have to submit any medical appointment proof with my application online?

Another challenge im having is when i get to POE. If im asked if I have a Dr’ appointment, I can’t say yes if I haven’t been able to get. And a lot of people here have suggested just walking into med centers when one gets there.

2.) I plan to travel in September even though im not due till Dec/Jan. Hope that isn’t too early? This is in relation to possible questions I might be asked at POE like “How long are you here for ?” Becsuse in filling my online form it has 2 weeks as travel period.

Thank you all for your responses. Really appreciate and waiting feed back on this as well

There is nothing confusing here, state the fact in your visa application..you are going to give birth in Canada.

Declaring at Poe is so deceiving because you are pregnant when you applied for that visa and knew that you want to use it for child birth.

If we continue to lie our way through every immigration system then we are going to make things difficult for others.
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by Demi007:
Hi everyone. Im new here.

Tried catching up with all the posts and ive gotten a lot of useful information thank you everyone and particularly @hotstepper.

The issue here now is i am due January next year and currently trying to apply for a visa and im having issues (mostly within myself lol) don’t know whether to add in the application (additional information section) that i will also be going to deliver my baby there. Even though i indicated vacation.

Orr im thinking I should leave the application as it is (holiday for 2 weeks), and then declare at POE?

Im really confused. I have family there so all of that isn’t an issue and thanks to everyone here, I was able to get cost and Drs num etc.

Kindly help me. God bless you

You made a mistake by not explaining where the money came from since you have other source of income other than your employment.

As an adult it's not a good thing to expect your daddy or to say that your daddy will be sponsoring your holiday. Since you work you are expected to be able to sponsor yourself.
Ok. So how do i correct the mistake now as i want to re apply this week. Thank you. Do i state other means of income, or do i jist leave it.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Demi007: 6:04pm On Dec 01, 2015
Hello everyone. I follow these threads onve in a while, but frustration has led to my commenting for the first time. I applied for a vsiting visa to the uk and stated that my dad will be sponsoring me.

I provided a letter from my dad, his bank details and his passport page (he currently resides in the us).

I also provided letter of employment from my office, leave letter stating when id be gone and when im to return and bank statements. I have 2 statements, 1 i use for salary and the other one i save my salary into. ( i transfer from my salary account to my other savings account to curb tbe way i spend) and also my mum sometimes gives me stipend in the personal savings account. I do a little bit of business (interior decorating) on the side and some of the funds go to my salary account while some go to my personal savings account. I provided the embassy with both bank statements as well. But i was still refused a visa. Their reason:

No evidence to comfirm you have any family in Nigeria.

A number of unexplainable deposits shown in one of the accounts (my personal savings account) they say the deposits are inconsistent. Which means they confused my salary account with my personal savings account.

No evidence to confirm my fathers employment status in the us.

I want to reapply immediately. I will appreciate if i am assisted please. Thank you. Also can i have anyones personal email or @justwise please your email so i can take a picture of the refusal nlte and send to you. Thank you.
