Dumbbell test? Now that’s how you prove a phone’s worth |
ArmorShell Protection is giving: “Try me, I dare you |
Finally, a phone that can handle Nigerian hustle without cracking literally |
This breakdown is super helpful! Been wondering which one to go for |
C75’s bigger battery is tempting, but the C75x design colors? Oceanic Blue is too fine |
This comparison just made my decision harder 😂 Both are looking like great buys |
Let me confess. I didn’t buy my current phone because of camera or design. I bought it out of frustration. I was tired. Tired of watching my battery bar drop like a Lagos traffic light. Tired of carrying my charger like it was an extension of my body. Tired of switching off my data to "save small battery" and don’t get me started on charging it 3 times before evening and it still dying when I needed it most 😩 It wasn’t just battery, that phone used to heat like I was frying plantain on it. Slow charging, lagging apps, video calls that sounded like robotic jazz… I suffered. Out of pure annoyance, I decided to try something different and a friend recommended any of realme's devices. Didn’t expect much tbh. The name even sounded like one of those cheap Androids you buy with fear in your heart. But that battery? Omo. That was the first thing I noticed. It lasted the whole day. I thought it was a fluke. Then the next day, same thing. I was charging once. Just once. I’m not saying it’s the “best phone in the world” but if you’ve ever had battery trauma, you’ll understand the peace this one has given me 😭🙏🏾. Let me ask you: -What’s the worst battery experience you’ve ever had with a phone? -And which brand gave you the most shocking upgrade (good or bad)? Let’s gist. I'll be in the comments |
This might offend some people but I’ll still say it: iPhones are not for everyone. I’ve used both iPhones and Androids and as much as I respect the clean UI and camera of iPhones not everyone needs a phone that costs as much as rent in Lagos 😭. Some of us just want a phone that: •Won’t die before 3pm •Charges fast •Has decent camera for weekend pictures •Doesn’t freeze mid-Zoom call •Doesn’t make us check our account balance before buying data 😩 I used to think I needed an iPhone until I realized I was basically using a ₦900k phone to scroll Twitter, snap food pics and watch Instagram skits that my Android could’ve shown me the same way 😭. I switched to a realme phone a few months ago and I won’t lie, I had my reservations. I mean, the name alone feels like something you'd see on the back of a power bank 😭 but omo… this phone has been doing the most. ✅ Battery that actually lasts (I charge once a day now) ✅ No unnecessary heat even during long calls ✅ Camera quality? Surprisingly solid. ✅ Smooth UI... No glitchy wahala or clutter It’s not perfect sha. The name still doesn’t sit well with me and people still look at me somehow when I say it but if we’re talking value for money, I’m not sure anything else comes close right now. So let's argue: -Do you need an iPhone or is it just vibes and pressure? -What brand are you using that actually shocked you (in a good way)? -And why do we look down on phones with “unpopular” names?

120Hz + big battery = smooth experience without stress |
I used to think it was just hype until I tried it. Watching movies is next level smooth |
Didn’t even know refresh rate affected gameplay that much. This was super helpful! |
I switched from 60Hz to 120Hz recently and the difference is very noticeable, especially in gaming |
Once you experience 120Hz, there’s no going back 😮🔥 Everything just feels so much smoother |
realme is not playing this year! IP69 and 45W charging at this price? That’s wild |
This comparison was on point. The C75x really steps up against the usual crowd |
Honestly, I’ve used the A14 and Redmi Note 12… but this realme C75x looks like a serious upgrade |
I'm impressed by the military-grade durability. My phones don’t usually survive long so this is tempting |
That IP69 rating is no joke. Anyone tried dropping it or using it in heavy rain yet? Curious about real-life use |
Looks like realme just entered the budget big boys club 🏆 Anyone using this already? |
That Helio G92 Max chipset sounds like a solid deal for the price. Definitely checking this out |
