The company don't advertise jobs on newspaper or online because naturally people comes to submit CVs. I remember 2years ago, I selected 5 nairalanders, 4 came for the interview and they were all lucky, though they also followed my advice. One didn't resume citing distance, one resigned after one wk citing distance, traffic, stress etc she's now in Denmark doing her Master, will still communicate Sha. One was transferred to another branch and one is now manager.

I had helped five people from similar information 2 years ago. But i will be brief now.

The company i currently work is opening a new branch and is one of the fast growing retail giant in Lagos. Same sector as Shoprite, Spa, Walmart etc but pays better than Shoprite. One of the Nairalanders I helped still work there till today, she became an HOD or call it department manager after one year.

Location -Lagos
Job type - from cashier, admin, procurement officer etc.
Salary scale- on average School Cert - 20,000 OND- 30,000 BSC- 60,000 I know some school cert that earns as much as 150,000 (depends on your hardwork, how long you've been in the company, position and department)

It will be good if you stay in Lagos or better still Island. But that shouldn't be your obstacle because there is staff quarters too.

Having same problem with first bank too.
I registered for BVN early this year at first bank, opened current and savings acc.while I also operated gtb. Few weeks ago my gtb account and the two first bank acc. were blocked because of bvn. I quickly linked my bvn that was registered at first bank with gtb acc. at ATM point took me 2min. Then I went to fill bvn form in FIrstbank. For 2weeks now first bank is yet to link my bvn registered with them 8months ago. It really sad and claimed to be the best in Nigeria.
