nonny1212: Lol... Rodrygo is among the best RW in the WORLD. he should be among top 5 in the WORLD.
Rodrygo would easily bench any RW in any team.
U no just like the boy. The boy is good!
Remember i said top 5 o, In the WORLD... You can check your google and calm down for the boy small.
Rodrygo has played more of a SS/free role this season, you can't really call him a RW cus he has played everywhere in our attack this seaspn As for RW that has been better that him are -Salah -Saka -Foden -Palmer -Sane -Musiala - Chiesa |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: R36L Madrid - Most Successful & Greatest Champ15ns of Spain, Europe & W9rld by Devvy4: 7:57pm On Mar 02, 2024 |
usbcable: This is fair enough. However, no need to get worked up. It's a discussion we are having not a session on smart words. Pls calm down.
So the first eleven in our team, not all of them are top 3 in the world. I hope you agree? We don't need (we can't even have it always) to have the top 3 in the world playing a particular role for Real Madrid.
So let us assume he is top 5 or even 10 in the world would you feel otherwise about him? I reckon your wanting him benched is not because he is not top whatever but based on his performance.
So if he is doing the work and putting in the shift why do we bench him outrightly? Glad to have your feedback. The argument shouldn't be whether he's top 3, top 5, top 10 or whatsoever, because all those stuffs are highly subjective. I'm only saying him should spend more time on the bench and we should try others simply because his output has been very poor, and our attack has equally been poor. Now, in our last 3 games, we have scored 1 goal in each of them, what does this says?? Someone can argue that afterall, we have won two of them, but what happens if we face a team that can unlock our defense?? The only thing that would stop me from me from saying that he should be on the bench is if he starts scoring goals, cus that's the work of an attacker, I dunno what you mean by doing the work or putting up the shift. |

this is from whoscored.com
As you can see he featured in top 5 (top 3 in two by the way) in those metrics. Guy abeg try dey read wetin I write abeg, I use God beg you. Fergie said he's one of the top RW in the world, I told him to put up stats to back up his claims, and you came up with Madrid players stats? I dare you to narrow down that stats to la liga as a whole, let's see if he'll make top 10. As for, the picture you littered above, I have addressed the whole thing since, and I can't go back to it, check the minutes played by the attackers, to goals scored. |

nonny1212: What of Rodrygo? Well, he can come in after we've scored 3 goals, so he can score the 4th, since that is what he did in the last 2 games he scored. |

Moving forward, joselu and Bellingham are back now, with the way we have struggled to score against our opponents in the last 3 games in jude's absence, I guess we should be fine now.
Ancelotti should use Vini and joselu from henceforth with Diaz(Potm for February) as their back up. |

usbcable: What has Endrick and Guler done for Madrid? At least we can count Rodrygo making us win Man City. Please prove me wrong you are not a fan of youtube compilations of players. The reason I ask is you did not even mention Brahim Diaz that has done SOMETHING too. You guys are just suffering from Stockholm syndrome I swear, a player is not perform, but we should keep playing him at the expense of others simply because he did magic in the 2022 UCL semis. Last season the same guy played against the same man city in both legs and he couldn't even come up with a shot on target. You simply didn't even read my last post b4 going on to quote it, because I didn't mention guler or endrick. BTW if we don't play them, how do you expect them to perform, when the rodrygo you play does nothing. |

nonny1212: Lol... Broo, Rodrygo is just one of those players I wouldn't wish to see play for another club. Like, I no fit even imagine am. He started life without cristiano with us. Everyone thought we couldn't win champions league without cristiano, we proved them wrong. Rodrygo played a vital role in proving them wrong.
I really dont know why u dont like him tho. Rodrygo hasn't always been consistent in goal scoring. But his contributions to top games cannot be overruled.
Cut the boy some slack, he will still cook. Especially in the champions league bro. That's where i enjoy his spark.
Perez would be the last person to even think of putting him on sale. Once you perform in champions league, u have won madridistas heart. Aside from his throwback 2022 game against Man city which many of you guys still hold onto, you can't point me to something special he has done, or he is currently doing. If you want to convince me about Rodrygo staying at Madrid beyond this season, or even remaining a starter, then bring solid fact to the table man! Someone came up with the " second top scorer" bs, and I was quick to show him that despite that, he is still our worse attacker this season. We literally went from booing Ronaldo and bale when they didn't show up in games to exercising patience with Rodrygo because of what he did in 2022 Finally, I don't hate him, rodrygo to me he's just right footed "Anthony", all bark no bite, instead of investing more game time on him, dumbcelotti should channel it towards the development of guys like endrick and guler, than playing him repeatedly and expecting a repeat of 2022 man city semifinals heroics |

One of the worse mistakes Perez could make in the history of Madrid it's deciding to keep Rodrygo for another year in Madrid, with this show of shame I have seen this season, the likes of Joselu, Endrick, Vini and Haaland/Mbappe(If they should come) are already ahead of him.
Either they sell that flop or swap him for a really good player, if not, his Market value will plummet and we will beg for crumbs just to get rid of him come 2026 |

USAfall2024: Should we go for Kimmich this Summer if he will come in cheap (say around €40-50m)? I think Kimmich will do a good job in our midfield should Modric/Kroos leave and we bin Ceballos (He's too mid IMO). Nahhhh...... he's 29 already, I'll rather invest more game time in the like of paz and guler than sign him, or rather tell Calafat to scout another midfielder for us. Even if he comes, he just can't start, as he'll most likely prefer to play the RM which is Fede's position, so it can't work. |

monerozi5590: I am beginning to think maybe you don't know ball.
Previous season, you called him Rodryghost and he proved you wrong. This season again you have started your nonsense agenda.
Rodrygo is Madrid second leading goal scorer in Laliga behind Bellingham . Rodrygo has 5G/A in the UCL, only second to Bellingham.
If you see talent, appreciate it not all this one you are doing. Rodrygo might be the "second" leading goal scorer in the team, but when you put together the total minutes played but all Madrid's attacker, then you'll discover he is the worst among them, now let's have it. -Rodrygo has played 24 games, and a total of 1700 minutes, and has scored just 8 goals - Diaz has played 19 games and a total of 750 minutes, scoring 4 goals in the process - Joselu has played 24 games, 1074 minutes, scoring 7 goals. -Vini has played 15 games, 1100 minutes, scoring 7 goals So with the stats above, are you still proud of the fact that Rodrygo is our "second" goal scorer in la liga? Now for the Ucl: -Rodrygo: 584 minutes, 5 g/a - Diaz : 243 minutes, 3g/a - Joselu: 247 minutes, 3g/a -Vini: 354 minutes, 4g/a In summary, your rodrygo is talented, but with the game time that has been invested in him, his stats has far too poor, and come next season or when we start getting difficult opponents in the UCL, Ancelotti should use metrics like this to select his starters, and not "talent" |
