We have 6 midfielder plus Alaba that can play as a Midfielder, yet the player we are strongly linked with is still a Midfielder (Bellingham). Yet we have 2 dead striker(benzema and mariano), one buried winger(hazard) and another winger on life support(ASSensio)

Benzema is past it and is now a tactical liability.
A player of his status will not listen to anything any coach tells him but will do just what's on his mind.He doesn't attack the box like a CF should anymore and his positioning has been off since last year.
He has been scoring goals yes but that's more than what we need in that attack.
The whole RW is dead, Carvajal has become useless, we play like a handicapped team and keep overloading the left.
All these issues are glaring and Benzema's tendency to drift doesn't help matters at all...he needs to leave cos he won't agree to be a bench player for another striker in the team.

I wonder how else can you even explain this to people, some people are just so emotional as attached to benzema, probably because of his last balon d'or win.

At this stage, we might not get a 30-goal a season striker, but atleast someone that can create space and chance for our other attacker and put pressure on opposing defenders

Well I ain't surprised. Football fans tend to have short-term memory. Not long ago (2018/19-2019/20 ish), many people were calling Modric washed up when he was struggling to start our games. Apart from his recent injuries, Benzema has been okay this season. Just a few weeks ago, he was unplayable against Liverpool and everyone was calling his praises.

I get we are pained that we just threw away the league with this loss but most of the blame should fall on Perez and Carlo that stuck to a thin squad when everyone was screaming for attacking reinforcement last summer.

Mtcheeew don't worry benzema will stay till he's 40, and next season barka will win the la liga with 20 points

Get a Salah-level RW and get another CF (we keep Benz). We can use 2 striker formation if this RW no-show keeps happening.
