Have a memory card inserted? I think you need that to backup anything aside notes, contacts, messages, and some small petty stuff.

I had 16gb memory card with 14gb free space in my rn4. Yet it can even backup my apps data.

Now I see why there is so much recommendations concerning the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X... Phone is truly a beast. Just 2 days of handling this phone, I have identified so much advantages over the Redmi Note 4 mtk. The performance is just so fluent, responsiveness, flexibility, camera, and ultimately the monster of a battery. The Battery of the Note 4x endures at least twice as much as that of the Redmi Note 4 mtk. Truly, the battery no the gree die . The Redmi Note 4 mtk is my last MTK device ever.... I can never use an mtk device ever again unless, maybe a better version is developed. I am truly enjoying this device and long may it continue....

Attached below is the image of my first SOT with the Redmi Note 4X on heavy usage. The maximum I ever had with the Redmi Note 4 mtk was 5hrs 23mins.

so how did u re load the backed up data to your phone? I copied the back up folder before flashing. Now, after flashng I cant find where to place the back up data. and also no button for local restore.

just place the back up folder back to your sd card or internal memory and navigate back to the above settings. You will see the back up file, just click on restore.

Settings >> Additional Settings >> Backup & reset >> Local backups >>back up.

Note: This only back up my apps (without their data), settings, call logs & contacts, messages. Don't really know what went wrong, but i have used this method to back up everything on my former RN2.

For people that don't have root access to use 'greenify' for better battery performance, another better alternative is even available. It's called 'Hibernator' Found it on xda forums and available for download in playstore.

Oya all of una with buggy updates go and help your battery til a better update is pushed.

What is the advantage of the Miui 9?

Well there are some physical changes already like the icons for limitless theme, split screen ... But i will have to use it to know if there is any performance changes. Just back up your data if loosing them is what you are scared of.

Just switched to MIUI 9 from 8.5.4 few seconds again. O men everything was wiped, thank God i did back up. Let me go an restore my back up.

You will get xiaomi phones with specs better than what you put up there and still collect change. Ask this question on xiaomi thread and you will get suggestions for different capable phones below that price.

You obviously didn't read everything i wrote up there. If you have used both processors, you will know heat is different from warm. He even said he is sure . One more thing Snapdragon is more battery efficient than MTK. Lobatan.

Mtk get heat up when charging and on heavy task like browsing on 3G and 4G, playing games. But snapdragon will just get warm after long time of gaming.

Qualcomm snapdragon performance is also better than that of mtk devices.

I think the only thing mtk has over snapdragon is price.

That's my own conclusion Sha. Have used both mtk and Snapdragon versions of xiaomi phones.

Hello, Pls is anyone with a redmi note 4x using either of the gt bank mobile apps? I seem to be having a problem with authorisation for my device.

Having finger print authorization with Gtworld. Everything else is kk here with both the old mobile app and the new Gtworld.
