@Mcshol I understand how you feel bro but the most annoying thing is people here think WE quit becos we lost. I'm happy you realised what is best for you, this THING is not for everyone and it's obvious we cant make it all. Some will work and make it, some will punt and not make it and vice-versa. The best thing is to take this THING serious if you want to and if everything is going against you, kindly quit before its too late. Yesterday I went to a nairabet shop to stake on some games, I met a young boy, in his early twenties or so, I had a long conversation with him, he told me his experience wit pool, lotto,card, etc. According to him he was a chronic bettor. Wat surprised me was that he advised me against gambling. It was as if he was God sent. He told me d normal experiences bettors have, d pros, d cons, match fixing agendas, deceit by bookies, d spirit of betting, and what makes bettors continue. According to him, we continue cos we lose, if u are winning always, u wud one day go to greener pastures. Losing has its psychological effect on humans. D more u lose, d more interested u become. D more u win, d less interested u become. Great men don't take betting as risks at all. Some ppl has dis belief that u use money to get money, true to an extent. What if u are losing money instead of getting money would u still continue? Even if u regain ur loses, u wud see dat it was a waste of time and energy to venture into betting. Av vowed to work for my money. When I was active in this betting of a thing, I always begged ppl for picks. I begged several ppl here. I dnt regret my actions though. I found out sometin, what makes me different from d lazy beggar on d street. No difference. I can't keep living this way. Even if its 10 naira daily dat am sure of through my sweat. Being a bettor made me lazy, non chalant to my academics. Cos I asked myself, wats d aim of goin to school if nt money. Then I concluded logically dat if its to make money, den I should start now that I have d opportunity. That's d power of greed speaking. Such an absurd logical conclusion. Av come to realize that there's dignity in labour. If bill gate, dangote, and d rest can make it without dashing bet shops money, then I also can make it. I searched d whole of nairabet for a deactivate account button, I saw nothing. Why, once u are in, it takes d grace of God to go out. Am glad that am out. I will never venture into any form of gambling. So help me God. Pardon my sermon, this is my testimony. I can't keep going backwards. I am not a fool. On this day, d 16th of november (my sister's birthday), I quit betting and all forms of gambling for good.
