Disstroy claimed that his state governor purchased a luxury vehicle for him worth N15 million. He did not state that he himself purchased the car for N15 million, nor did he imply that the average Nigerian purchased a luxury vehicle for N15 million.

When asked to provide the model and year of the luxury car his state governor allegedly bought for N15 million, he failed to do so. This was over a month ago.

At that time, he did not mention the average Nigerian’s income, nor did he suggest that the average Nigerian couldn’t afford to buy a luxury car worth N15 million. He also did not claim to have purchased the vehicle himself; he stated that it was his state governor from one of the country’s richest oil-producing states.

So, why are we here today? We are here because he made a ridiculous claim in his initial post that lacks substantiation, and now he is attempting to conflate issues to divert attention from himself.

Now that you have a clearer picture, do you still agree with him that the luxury car, which his stated governor allegedly gifted him, was purchased for N15 million in 2025? Yes or No?

PS: This is about Disstroy and his false claim, not about the average Nigerian, their average income, what they term luxury, or what they can afford.

I think there's a difference between EXPENSIVE AND LUXURY.

What determines Luxury, is the qualities and the attributes of what the item posseses, and not the price.

Things have gotten expensive over time, and yes, nobody can easily spend that, but that doesn't mean a Camry 013, is luxurious. It can never be even if it costs 1 billion naira. It only got EXPENSIVE.

This is the price of a 1980 something Nigerian Used Mack Truck. 22 million naira. We cannot say this is luxurious in any way.
