Crime / Re: James Nwagalezi Hacks Into Ecobank’s App, Withdraws N207 Million by dimade1: 9:34am On Jun 09, 2018
Yarnvibes:
Yahoo Plus Boy, Internet Fraudster Uses Charm To Hack Into Ecobank Mobile App, Withdraws N207 Million

A 28-year-old suspected fraudster, James Nwagalezi, was yesterday, arraigned before a Lagos Magistrate’s Court for allegedly conniving with Okoli Nmesoma, already facing trial, to hack into the mobile app account of Eko Bank Plc and unlawfully withdrew N207 million.

Nwagalezi is facing a four-count charge bordering on felony to wit unlawfully hacking into bank account and stealing, preferred against him by the Police.

Police prosecutor, Inspector Jimoh Joseph, told the court that the defendant and others still at large committed the offence on April 27 at Igboelerin, Okokomaiko, Ojo, Lagos.

He said The management of the bank at its headquarters in Lagos reported the fraud to the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in charge of Ikoyi Division, SP Tijani Mustapha, who directed a crack team led by Inspector Tope Ijatuyi to fish out the suspects.

He added that “Nwagalezi was arrested after several months of manhunt. His arrest brings the number of suspects arrested and charged to court to six. The Police are still hunting for more suspects involved in the alleged fraud.”

According to the prosecutor, the offences are punishable under Sections 411, 387, 287 and 325 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015.

However, Nwagalezi pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Magistrate B. I. Bakare granted him N1 million bail, with two sureties in like sum, one of whom must be a community lea
der.

He adjourned the case till July 4 and ordered that the defendant be remanded at the Ikoyi Prison, pending when he is able to perfect his bail conditions.

Empiree:
you think they have brain?. They have no brain.

They are commenting exactly how politicians want it. If there should be any international intervention to dismantle Nigeria, make no mistake, Nigerian Christians will always be the sheeples and culprits.

For all the comment Christians made so far,if I happen to be a Christian, I will denounce my Christianity today
They will ignorantly welcome international coalition to "help" Christians while the country is destroyed. They see not beyond their nose.

You see how they twist things. Yesterday they were happy for Trump's speech for backing "persecution" of Christians. Today Muslims are killed but they can't say the same. All they could come up with is muslims killing Muslims. Don't you think these crazy people are extremely brainwashed. They don't see smoke screen flags at all. Majority of them are intellectually dead

This is what Pastor Kumuyi said recently

THEY LET LOOSE THE DOGS OF VANDALISM AND DEATH: BEWARE OF THE TRICKS TO WAR!
"Be vigilant, wary of those who kill for political reasons to resurrect religious war"

~W.F. Kumuyi

When commissioned Dogs of War attack your communities dressed in a particular form to mislead you, such that they even get into a church building to knock off a certain number of people, what do you do?

Do you go about killing Hausas and Fulanis in your immediate environment and even proceed to burn down their mosques just simply because you think or believe that the killers were Muslims? What if the killers are what I refer to above as Commissioned Dogs of War?

Ok, if the invasion of a church by gunmen to kill worshippers triggers you to begin attacking and killing Muslims and even burning down their mosques, who should Ozubulu community people have attacked when gunmen killed dozens of worshippers in a Catholic Church there last year?

When bombs were going off almost every Friday in mosques in Kano few years ago, which people should the people of Kano have attacked?

Up till now "Boko Haram" suicide bombers detonate and kill themselves with bombs alongside others in mosques in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states, who should the people in those towns or villages attack or whose property or worship centre should they burn down?

Zamfara people are also being killed by the same variant of Dogs of War, so who should they also revenge on?

All killings are bad, reprehensible and condemnable. But it shouldn't be deliberately turned into an ethno-religious propaganda tool for mischievous political ends. There are certain persons or groups who would rather have the country go up in flames than to have the country focusing on how much they stole and ruined the country. These killings benefit only them.

Don't fall for their antics!

contigiency:
It's very unfortunate how shallow and selfish minded the leaders we have today can be. The fuel scarcity is affecting everyone and not just my tribe (ndi Igbo). Must we go the same route that has always failed us? Any right thinking person should condemn the situation as it affects all Nigerians. Its not only Igbos that travel or convey goods to different locations. And by my little investigation, I have come to realise that it is the common man that brought this hardship on the fellow common man. A situation where marketers and filling stations will be hoarding fuel to hike the price, then DPR personnel sent to monitor the situation and enforce compliance to normal pricing will turn around to collect bribe and allow the bad situation to go on. And unfortunately everybody turn to abuse the President whom they erroneously assume should be everywhere.

http://www.lawyard.ng/justiceforfirdaus-argument-over-hijab-needless-we-will-address-it-nba-president/?utm_campaign=shareaholic&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=socialnetwork#JusticeForFirdaus:

The President of Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, A.B. Mahmoud, SAN, has promised that the Association would look into the circumstances in which Amasa Firdaus, a graduate of University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) was prevented from being called to the Bar on Tuesday.

Firdaus was said to have been denied entry into the hall where the ceremony held by officials of the Council of Legal Education (CLE) for failing to remove her ‘hijab’ covering as directed.

The prospective call to bar candidate reportedly insisted on wearing her hijab in adherence to her religious beliefs and refused entreaties to do otherwise. She was subsequently locked out and could not participate in the ceremony.

Firdaus’ plight has garnered nationwide attention and has been the subject of a debate about the constitutional right to freedom of worship and the obligation to respect laid out rules. A call for Firdaus to be admitted to the Bar has also been trending with the hashtag #JusticeForFirdaus.

Joining the discussion Friday afternoon, NBA President Mahmoud referred to Olufunke Abimbola, a Nigerian lawyer based in the United Kingdom (UK) who was recently honoured by Queen Elizabeth II for her contributions to promoting diversity in the legal profession.

Writing on his Twitter handle, @abmtwitt, Mr Mahmoud said Firdaus’ plight would be addressed while also adding that the NBA would embrace diversity.

“UK based Nigerian lawyer recognized for promoting diversity in the legal profession. The NBA will embrace diversity and tolerance in the Nigerian legal profession. The Hijab issue will be addressed,” Mahmoud said.

The NBA President went further to share a picture of his daughter being admitted to the New York Bar while wearing a hijab and declared that the argument over hijab in Nigeria was needless.

ukeleh:
Is President Buhari's daughter a standard to measure Islam? The standard of Islam is the Holy Quran. In the holy Quran, women are told to wear Hijab same as in the Bible. For the fact that Christians don't obey all laws in their Bible will not make Muslims to be forcefully disobey the Quran.
That's how they follow there GO blind
