I thought there was meant to be a close above 100MA before you bought? Or plans changed and you went back to enter at 1485 from yesterday as price didnt go back there after 1490? A bit confused.

I bought it @1485. I was referring to pple who still wish to buy to wait and b careful because there MIGHT be a retracement @100MA.
Actually, this is supposed to reach 1512/14 except high fundamental news reverses it.

saxy4c check your USDCHF, USDCAD, take some profit if you can. It might start to turn down, especially the UCad. Well I know you have stop loss in place, so no shaking and if the resistance at the top could be broken, then good ride up for you.

my opinion on d 2pairs,
buy/sell is still 50/50,
my reasons, weekly tf for both has produced bullish pin bars but at exactly on d trend line if drawn properly,
BUT until d price closes at/above d upper wick of d pin bars b4 I buy these. buying right now is not too bad as long one puts SL.

My challenge is this, I downloaded MT4 platform in order to demo trade yesterday but the broker I want to use (HotForex) isn't appearing, the response has been, no broker found. Pls what could be the cause, or do u have any suggestion for me on my choice of a broker. My interest is scalping.

I'm not using hot forex but I know "hot forex" is not d name to be typed in d search tab( those using hot forex will advice u on dt).
concerning scalping, I will not in any way advice u to do such since u said u r new in this,
my advice is to trade swing on 4tf and above (preferably daily tf) which helps u know d exact direction of d market, u can then turn to scalping once u master d market, doing this, u won't turn to a gambler.

so while anyone gives signals here without telling u d REASON for such a buy/sell is ( preferably on chart which tells d whole explanation) not in anyway helping u at all, it is a proven fact.
it even helps to show u d set up charts with explanation, then, u learn faster online LIKE one on one teachings.
Don't be engrossed with a mere affiliation which doesn't develop u as a trader.

You can also do it using mobile version.

Download TRADE INTERCEPTOR from Android play store. Add your charts and place your setups, indicators, trend lines, channels accordingly. Open a price chart of your choice example EURUSD containing your setups. Below the chart you will see many tools. Among the tools is an icon that looks like document or paper. Click on that. That is the template icon. Open it up. Click on the ➕ botton( ADDITION SIGN) to add a new template. Type the name you want that template saved as and give a description. Then click SAVE botton on the extreme right corner.

You can save as many template as possible with different indicators settings, channel, trendlines settings. Anytime you need any of those template, just open up a chart, get the template tools(a notebook-like or folder-like tool), click the name of the template and it will add to all your charts immediately.

This is only applicable to TRADE INTERCEPTOR. The typical mt4, mt5 mobile version don't have this feature.

1. Put your preferred setups on any price chart including your trendlines, channels, support and resistance and any other indicator with their settings.

2. Right-click on the chart
3. Click on TEMPLATE
4. Click SAVE TEMPLATE
5. On the SAVE as dialog box, type any name you want your template saved as on the FILE NAME space and then click the SAVE botton
6. Replicate the setups on other price chart by rightclicking on price chart, click template and then choose the name you saved the template as as explained in number 5.

Anytime your mt4 reset to default, just recall the template and your entire setups, indicators, lines will show up.

Has anyone experienced this? my meta trader 4 keeps going back to default settings almost on a monthly basis, thereby erasing my trends, channels, resistance/supports, etc.

You know that no one can say empirically what will happen. You could be right. I saw that if I adjusted my trendline, would see the same thing you are seeing.

Monthly.
Hard to say. It's still deciding. Won't say it has broken that trendline, the way I drew it. You know we traders draw differently.

Weekly.
That's why I was calling for patience. If the lower black line holds as support and the upper black line is broken decisively.
We have confirmation for a buy.

But if we break downwards. That black line on the monthly lower down is where price may go.

So either ways.. We continue to monitor.

I just presumptively made an aggressive entry because I am biased to the upside. If it goes the other way, will gladly sell. Because so much room for either upside move or downside move depending on what happens at this trendline point.

I hope new traders learn faster from EXPLANATION on this forum and not basically here for only trade calls!( learn y u earn)

Ok I'm tempted to make a home run on this gold. This is the riskiest point to join in this rally but it's worth the low risk here.

Buying gold 1477 sl 1473 tp 1500.

Its a risky one indeed. I wish to buy as well but to b conservative, I'll like to c d resistance broken first.
Ve a look at d downward trend line from September 4, till date(daily tf), u will notice dt ur entry is a point of resistance( trend line resistance+ horizontal resistance) . I will buy once the line is broken and close above it, because a bearish bar can still b formed today thereby producing a sell option.

This is good. I already entered a long on this pair yesterday.

My view on this pair is to sell.
Reason:
From weekly tf(today is Friday for dt matter),
If u draw ur trend line from August 12, 2012, till date, u will notice how d line was broken downward in August and tried to retest it upwards but couldn't break it thereby it has been producing bearish pin bars since Nov 17.
Ve a look at d mini downward channel as well as a result of bearish pin bar on may 5 till date.
I will only consider a buy option at a close above d mini downward channel at a resistance 1.4710.
Therefore, I'm on sell on this one with SL above d said resistance.
Can u enlighten me d more( perhaps I'm wrong) y I should buy this if u can pls?

The market can now act vigorously when eventually removed by d senate.
