As if they park any bus when they hammered u @ bernabeu last season
Do you even watch their games? Not to take anything away from Benitez, but he is shit. In all the big games his side had played, he virtually parked the bus. PSG comes to mind here. Atletico comes to mind too. Not to mention Sevilla. Imagine being 2 goals down, yet you decided to play on the defensive. How can you explain that?

Besides, last year was Ancelotti's Madrid. Two different teams we are talking about here if you know what I mean.

Even with an off-form Ronaldo and an in-form Neymar/Suarez?

You really need to go back and read what I write, this time with a clear and open mind....

I said the his kinda play don't give you goals,to score you have to IMPROVE AND WORK HARD....
Aren't we saying the same thing?

And I added that if he doesn't change his game and score lots of goals he is still class, and m OK with him if he can keep repeating what he did last season.....
We have millions of highly respected AMFs who never scored 20 in any season...

M tired.....Tired of Hazard Arguements
It will take a long way to change him.....He doesn't have the shot power, he can't take powerful crosses, he doesn't have the Height to attack aerial balls.
It wouldnt take anything! No one is talking about changing him here. I am only saying he needs to improve on the weaknesses you yourself mentioned of. He doesnt have the shot power? Then why is he training? He needs to practice shooting. Besides, not everyone will have the shot power the likes of Ronaldo, Bale, Hulk et al have. Heck, what is more importance for Hazard as regards this is for him to work on shooting more and also working on his shot technique and accuracy. Not necessarily on his shot power per se.

As for aerial balls, no one is faulting him for that. Afterall, Messi, Neymar and so many great players aint good in that department either.
How else could he get himself in scoring positions if not by dribbling?
Are you insinuating that the only way to get into scoring positions is by dribbling like he usually does? You can get into scoring positions without doing a thing. What is really necessary is the instinctiveness to want to be there whenever there is need to. How many people do you see Ronaldo dribble in a match to score those so-called tap-ins? Of course dribbling is one of many ways of creating chances and getting into scoring positions, but you made it seem like its the only only way from the above question.
If KDB or any player faces 2 defenders they can decide to shoot at goal,Hazard can't ,he has to dribble to get into a really good position before he can score
And you are content with that? Like he is crippled or what? Even defenders shoot when they have the space, much more an attacker.
He is not the only one like that,Messi is probably the only kinda player like that ,that really scores.....And that's because he is Messi
You are kidding right? Heck, who is even talking about scoring goals here? In that short review, I made mention of the fact that his dribbles were somewhat redundant. That he could have done more to help the team other than dribbling without control. If you saw the match you would understand what I am saying.
No be by force to score, creating chances is his strength and m happy if he can keep doing that as he did last season...
This is really a mediocre way of seeing things. I cant do this, for that reason I should leave it. What happens to trying? What happens to wanting to improve on your weaknesses? Wow, this is the height of mediocrity. The only to be better is to strive for more. To try be better in every sense of the word. Iguess you would rather sit and just accept whatever life throws at you, rather than doing something about them to your favour.

M tired.....Tired of Hazard Arguements
This is the problem. No one brought up any sorta argument. You brought it up yourself. I only gave a brief review of his game to airmark and he didn't react badly. Infact, he was even satisfied with the review however not convincing. Alas! you came up with trying to justify his play and all that. I doubt if you saw the game yourself.

I never wanted to criticise him in any way, but just to highlight a bit of where I think he needs to improve.

Anywayz, hope you are having a blissful weekend.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by dmcdad: 12:19pm On Nov 14, 2015
Hmmm....

Guy, Hazard is an attacker / winger and as such scoring goals (especially important ones) is a needed prerequisite to be considered among the best. The thing you need to acknowledge is this; Rome wasnt built in a day. Everything Messi does today, he didnt start doing them from the get go. No! He developed them overtime. And that's all about the life of a footballer. You keep improving and learning new things with each passing game and as time passes on. Messi didnt have this sorta vision he has now some years ago. He developed it over the course of time.

It's really lame (I dont mean to insult you in any way) to say he doesnt know how to do this and that, hence he shouldnt work on his game to improve on his weaknesses. Messi's weaker foot was almost dead some years ago, but same cant be said presently especially with how many goals he scored with it last season. You think that was a coincidencce? Nah, he really worked on it.

My point? As a footballer, its not enough to say you cant do this and that and for that reason, there is no room for improvement. Heck, for a player of Hazard's calibre, its really sad to know that his game can't improve (from what you said). Do you think the best free-kick takers had it inherent in them? I guess not. It takes lots and lots of practice to be a maestro in it. This is so in other shperes of life. One shouldnt accept mediocrity while it might take just a little to achieve excellence in one's quest.

So, I still stand on it, he really needs to improve on his weaknesses. He doesnt know how to shoot? He needs to practice taking shots from varying distance. He doesnt know how to cross? He needs to start praticing it. For goodness sake Hazard is just 25 and not 35. He is still young and has a lot of years ahead of him. What stops him from doing the needful to improve his gameplay?

As good as Neymar was when he joined Barca, he has really improved in every aspect of his game since then. The aspect of his game that has reduced somewhat is his dribbling. That is because sometimes players need to know when not to do those flicks, shimmies and stuffs but to add to the team in some other productive means. Not saying dribbling is bad. Infact, the reverse is the case here. It is very good if used properly. But you will agree with me that sometimes some player over-do it and it loses the main essence of it.

He will really have to change his style completely and train really hard to score goals, but anyways m really cool with him if he can just get back in form....

The frustrating thing for Madrid is that, even with all these we are still going to win.

I can understand why they are always furious about anything Barca. Even with all efforts to thwart us, we still come out stronger and better everytime.

We shouldnt, I repeat, we shouldnt risk a relapse. Na we go suffer am oooooooo. For me, he shouldnt play until after the clasico where is would be more sure he has fully recovered.

Sorry bro, calm your wife. I saw this coming, saudi and co will be careful in taking those refugees and they have the system to curtail their excesses. I just hope it wont be too late for the west. Qatar have the resources to take all syrian refugees, but they will rather deport them. Meanwhile, I missed all international matches today, did you watch belgium's match? Any improvement on hazard?
He did alright. But frankly, he needs to lessen the dribbles and contibute more in a better way. He was busy doing his endless dribbles with no positive effect on the team, while the likes of KDB and Yannick Carrasco were doing the damage by creating goal scoring chances and scoring goals.

He needs improvement on his overall play.

Lionel Messi trains with Barcelona B youngsters on day off

Lionel Messi continued his recovery plan on Friday as he aims to get fit for the Clasico on November 21. As explained earlier, the Argentine star arrived at training despite Luis Enrique gifting the squad Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. We don't know what Messi will do on the weekend days, but on Friday he decided instead of training alone he would work with Barcelona B.

The presence of the star was a big surprise for the youth team squad. The truth is that if someone had watched without knowing who Messi was, they would not have noticed anything strange as he took part in all the same exercises as the youngsters without any type of privileges.

Messi took another step forward in his recovery - he wants to play next Saturday in the Bernabeu against Real Madrid and will do everything he needs to so he can be fit for the big game.
@emboldened... Not surprised though. Afterall he is not like one egoistic braggadocio in a certain Madrid club.

Sergio Busquets picks up injury during Spain v England

Spain's 2-0 win over England had some bad news for FC Barcelona. Midfielder Sergio Busquets started against the Three Lions and although he was one of the few Barcelona players who has not been injured this season, he asked for a change in the second half because of some physical difficulties.

The Badia born star left on his own feet, and according to Cataluya Radio the midfielder may have a small overburdening in his thigh.

He was one of five Barcelona players who started for Spain, with Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique, Marc Bartra and Jordi Alba all featuring too.
