The thing tire me no be small. Injury plus fatigue due to the long trip and with little time to recuperate. philfearon: |
Babe no vex for me ooooooo. Wetin you talk dey nearly impossible. infact, raising the dead would be easier than what you said. ![]() Vivalavida99: |
My pain now na say, international fixtures just days before El-Clasico. And Croatia invite Rakitic for their yeye friendly, but them leave out Modric. You see? And I bet the likes of Portugal, France and co go leave Ronaldo and Benzema respectively. Even Bale sef. Them fit just invite them, but I guess them no go play. Meanwhile, our star man (Neymar) go dey busy dey battle am against a team like Argentina just days before the match. Hmmm philfearon: |
21st of this month. Chelseafan1: |
In last season's clasico (At the Bernabeu) Messi had an off game. The first clasico of Neymar's first season (Camp Nuo) where we won 2-1 courtesy of Neymar and Alexis' goals, Messi was as invisible as invisible gets. Also, in Neymar's first season where we played Atletico six (6) times without beating them, Neymar was our best player in those 6 matches. He was closely followed by Alexis. Messi had off games in almost all of them. Infact, those matches brought about some controversies, including one by an Ex-Barca Doc who said Messi no longer has the drive and hunger to play footy. And if you could remember, Martino played Neymar outta position in practically all the big matches. I need not remind you of what Cletic did to us the season prior to Neymar's arrival. They won the match against us when we played on their turf, and drew the return leg in Camp Nuo. The following season, without Messi in the team (with Neymar) we won them home and away. Infact, Neymar singlehandedly destroyed them at the Camp Nuo with a hattrick, plus lots of flicks, shimmies, nutmegs et al. ![]() Disclaimer: I am not in any way trying to take away anything from the football god just to prove Neymar worthy. For all I know, Neymar will never get to Messi's level. No be swear! What I am trying to say here is that, Neymar has nothing to prove to anyone, and against any team. He has done it times without number. Chelseafan1: |
Lwtmb. Keep the jokes coming. I am very much loving this. And not to forget; it's good to dream. Vivalavida99: |
Funny enough, he has the big boyz as his bitch. PSG comes to mind here. Atletico comes to mind too. Even Madrid comes to mind. philfearon: |
SIRcumalot:But this drama na the square of Moyes own ooooooooo. ![]() |
Nervous? He has played in bigger stages than this without being nervous, why now? Neymar is a senior player with lots of confidence. After leading a country like Brazil for more than 2 years, why would he be nervous? Chelseafan1: |
Thats it. marqueetim: |
Chelseafan1:On the contrary... He will more than turn-up. He is a big game player, and Madrid (like Atletico) are gradually becoming his bitch. My only concern is for the midfield and defence, and also for Suarez to be bale to convert chances that day. We might not create too many goal scoring chances considering the opponent, thats why I will need Suarez to be with his scoring boots that day to convert whatever chance Neymar or the rest of the team will create. That is the day you will fall down and pay homage to the second-in-command. |
sconp:I never know sha. But e suppose be low key things. Maybe just control men make we go kill fish and fall some kind bottles. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Chelseafan1:Let's not talk about a god please! But give respect to whom it's due. I ain't surprised you belittle Neymar this much. After you don compare am to person wey him go give birth to in football, how you no go underrate am like this. Neymar in Brazil colours has played the likes of Argentina, Spain, England, Italy, France, just to name a few. He doesn't disappoint, that's one sure thing about him. That doesn't mean he doesn't have off days. Heck, even Messi do have off days sometimes. If my defence can live up to expectations that day, and the midfield is decent enough, then I am almost certain we will win. Mind you, last season in the first leg of the Classic, we were beaten 3 goals to 1 with Messi on the pitch. Infact, the solitary goal was scored by Neymar. So, we losing wouldn't mean shit about Neymar. Not giving an excuse here, just highlighting the fact. Just wait and see. |
sconp:Holla bruv! How the celebration wan be na? ![]() ![]() ![]() |
SIRcumalot:Why them no talk am last season? British media? The worst ever! |
Chelseafan1:Well, Neymar has always been playing well. In the absence of Messi, he just assumed Messi's role of creating as well as scoring. As regards your request or proposal or whatever one calls it, even though it won't be fair to us considering a lot of factors, I will still look forward to it. I believe my guys will not disappoint. So, challenge accepted. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Well, to put it in a little more perspective, Munir > Hazard on current form. Abi I lie? ![]() Debroslink: |
Ha ha ha ha ha... The matter don really tire my guy ooooo. ![]() Thats why I no dey follow them talk am again oooooo. Na waste of time. coded01: |

coded01:You don see wetin fanboyism dey cause? ![]() |
coded01:Epic! ![]() |
I guess you didn't get my point. I never said we were gonna lose for sure. As long as El-Clasico is concerned, its always a 50-50 thingy. Neither form nor any other factor determine the outcomes. I said that for the benefit of those who would be weary because of Messi's potential absence. As it stands even, its almost certain he ain't gonna play. Personally I am not perturbed a bit. I just need the defence to come good that day. I will also need the midfield to up their game, else the defence wont be able to withstand the pressures their midfield and attack will pose. If the other guys can be up to par, and Suarez too, I know a victory will almost be certain. I know for sure Neymar will have them for dinner so no need to talk about him. ![]() pelvicky: |
We cant afford not having Iniesta in the middle. Never! homesteady: |
Was that difficult to decipher? People sef... homesteady: |
Wait till you get a response that it was rigged. Those guys would do anything to cover up their butts. raumdeuter: |
Are you for real? Rakitic has been way off form since the start of the season. Suarez has been scoring, but he has also been missing lots of chances. The major difference (aside some subtle ones) between Neymar and Hazard is that Neymar can create as well as score goals. So, even if he creates and the striker is off form (like Suarez sometimes), then he produces the goal himself. Imagine, in the league alone, since Messi got injured, Neymar has scored same amount of goals as Suarez, with an add-on of being the catalyst behind almost every goal we have scored. I can authoritatively and affirmatively say that, if Neymar were to be in this present Chelsea team, your team wont be struggling with relegation as is the case now. ![]() This is one of Barca's worse season defensively in a while now. But then take a look at the league table, you will see us up there alongside Madrid who have conceded the least. Why? Simply because we have been outscoring our opponents for the most part. Therefore, I think if Neymar were to be in your squad now, although you still have other lapses in the squad (midfield and defence), but I believe you guys would have obviously scored far more than you have at this juncture. That itself would have been enough to catapult you guys to anywhere around the top 5 in the table. Chelseafan1: |
Okay. Good thing you now agree you are sentimental when he is being compared to Neymar. Thank God! At last! ![]() Chelseafan1: |
I wanna let the past be so. And for not being sentimental, that's a far cry from the truth honestly. You eat, drink and sleep sentiments especially when it involves Hazard. Chelseafan1: |
