After quietly going through this thread for a while, I finally got a note 4 through Noobody on Friday. Having fun with it. And patiently waiting for the battery to die.

P.S: I can't save contacts to my Google account only Mi account

No doubt about support for multiple bands.

But I wouldn't call Glo LTE ancient because they chose coverage over speed.

Better speed: 2600Mhz (band 7) > 1800Mhz (band 3) > 800Mhz (band 20) > 700Mhz (band 28)

Better coverage: 700Mhz (band 28) > 800Mhz (band 20) >1800Mhz (band 3) > 2600Mhz (band 7)

i.e the higher the frequency, the greater the speed and the lower the frequency, the wider the coverage
yet they've got the worst network coverage allover..

I did not forget, It's band 7 and 20 wink
yea 7 I meant.. cry
But at the end of it all..device supports multiple bands to its advantage pf missing out like glo with their ancient band..im certain wont miss out on airtel

I hope you saw the bolded? That it's not in Nigeria yet, does not mean when it's available, they'll use the same frequency band as the same used in India.

Mtn south africa uses band 3, while mtn Uganda uses band 7
U forgot to mention mtn Nigeria band 3 and 20 here..
So let it slide
Till then
Peace.

The person is asking about airtel ng
Oga calm down..he understands me clearly
Its not in Nigeria yet.. Thats why I specified the country it has already been launched and in use already...he asked of 4g network it supports. He didn't ask if "the device supports airtel 4g ng" in particular..
Phones / Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Dmedalion: 9:39pm On Dec 27, 2017
noobody:

Yes,its supports, mtn, etisalat, not sure if airtel has 4g,

Gorrila glass type was not specified, but irrespective of wot gorrilla made the glass, temepered glasses are very much advised and a case as well.
Supports MTN, ETISALAT, NTEL, AIRTEL 4G(A friend from India uses it)

I updated through OTA and it downloaded completely and before rebooting some options appeared that I clicked on one and it now got stocked on MI
if it has to do with OTA, bro.. u must have done something on ur device with an app u might not be aware of...the outcome of what u must have done was to take place after rebooting(the bootloop ur device is on now (staying on MI Logo))...and maybe u didnt attempt reboot till after the update action...so the problem is not from the OTA...but showing my logo means ..
