So God told Muhammed to bow to the kabba that has the black stone, a sacred stone that God told Moses nobody should bow before it.

And beside , There are thousands ways your sins can be forgiven in Islam
Let me list few for you :

1. Hajj: An accepted Hajj completely purifies a person of their sins, leaving them as innocent as a newborn baby.


2. Umrah: Performing Umrah serves as an expiation for the sins committed between it and the previous one.


3. Accepting Islam: For a new Muslim, embracing Islam erases all of their previous sins


3. Enduring Hardships. Allah forgives the sins of believers who face trials, illness, or distress with patience. Any worry, sadness, or physical harm that a Muslim endures acts as an expiation (washing away) of their misdeeds.

4. Fasting on some specific days
