You obviously won't be able to buy $1000 wor th of btc immediately. It has daily limits as a form of control for the purchaser's account. With continued transaction using that same fiat account, the exchange will become more comfortable and allow higher daily limits. And the reason for this is to put checks in place against people losing monies to unscrupulous souls.

NB: newbies, there's no reason on earth to go buy $1000 worth of cryptos at the early start of your foray into cryptos. Buy in bits. Don't trust most people here.

The event started like a joke when the said thief bought USD worth 2million naira from four nairalanders whom he has gained their trust by patronizing them for business often.

He initially claimed he was scammed and he will pay back in two days. He later extended it to 8 days. Unfortunately, he now asked us (the victims) to do our worse and he deactivated his facebook page in order to hide his face.

His nairaland username is YOMIELUV.

Tabbaz,after all the plead of been given a grace of little time to sort things out in the WhatsApp group, you came out to write this,I was working out thing to sort this out at the shortest possible time..the said cheque has been gotten,and I am making contact to get the info on the cheque in order to involve the law enforcement by going to Akure.

This is just a phrase that will pass, I accept, I am guilty, but it was just an over-trust of a buyer that caused this.

One thing I know is that,we have been in the group for a long time,we have done several deals,now you are judging me by one single deal gone wrong.

I was scammed 1.5m last month I didn't tell my supplier before paying him I need to borrow money from friends to pay what I bought..
