What kind of offence deserves this kind of beating? I'm a firm proponent "spare the rod and spoil the child", but there should be a limit. A certain time comes when you start treating your child like an adult, not a naughty child. Short of commiting an absolute abomination, no offense deserves this kind of assault.

I got you, but even as an adult, you're still under my roof. I believe there are measures of discipline, and the higher the offence, the higher the punishment. When an adult misbehaves and fails to take correction, you discipline her like an adult. Lack of proper discipline by parents is a contributory factor to youths misbehaviour these days

even after the police rescued them they supported the robbers

I can only see marks of beating, no injuries. She should've told us what her offence was. The father was even cautious with the beating so as not to harm her

I don't know what she did but I know that whatever it was,was big enough to warrant such. You can't love a child more than the parent
