I've tried shea butter and a pinch of salt and it worked fine. It's important the shea butter is pure, melt it and add a pinch of salt.

Another home remedy you can try is placing onion slices in her socks at night. Some swear it works haven't tried it though.

Thank you so much for this I tried the palm oil and sugar remedy and I must admit it works so fast I still can’t believe it as the cough reduced drastically .thanks once more for this timely advice I really appreciate

You can add vitamin c 2.5ml daily and do warm massage.

Feed her regularly with warm milk and keep irritant like perfume or other sprays away from her.
Not sure of any other home remedy ideal for her age.


Running a test won't be bad to be sure it's not an infection.

She’s already on vitamin c +abidec also thought I used to read about one honey sugar salt remedy can’t really remember the exact remedy and if it’s ideal for her age

We might just have to go for a test to
Rule out infection as the cough is really getting me worried .

Hi. You need to take your child to a standard hospital. It could be anything. When children vomit repeatedly,it needs to be taken seriously, because they get dehydrated so fast and it can be disastrous.

Thanks though she doesn’t vomit always only when she coughs after feeding, we might have to go do a test to rule out infection,

Good day all please I’m back again Ohoo my daughter of six months has this strong cough that makes her vomit at times especially after feeding, they went for 6 months immunization on Thursday and my wife complained about the cough but was told it’s the sign of teething and asked not to give her anything except paracetamol,but I’m uncomfortable with this, please who can help with that home remedy for cough and please can a six months old baby use the homemade remedy.
