[quote author=Finesse007 post=111739247]Your racist, teammate shagging legend cost you your third UCL which would have made United still be on 2.....vvd has not done worse for Liverpool
On this Day in the 2008 #UCL final! John Terry slips on his way to strike the winning penalty kick that handed Man United the victory! pic.twitter.com/QTj0zuPRax
CapitalCee: I know many emotional Chelsea fans will crucify me but the Lottery UCL win Tuchel got last season opened the door for the FIFA WCC and Super Cup. Tuchel with his approach can never dominate a league. He came 2nd behind Juve in group stage and was lucky to draw Lille. Do you guys honestly see Tuchel coming near to winning the league? his only opportunity will be to fluke cup competitions and grab the possible super cups that comes with it. His style of play is not progressive he is a Sean Dyche with more expensive and quality squad.
Reasonable and honest Chelsea fans won’t crucify you for saying the truth.
Lampard will always be the reason Tuchel won all he’s won for us. I won’t stop saying this until he starts a tournament from the scratch and win it for us.
CAPdan21: VVD not good with marking, according to who??..most 1v1 duel on the pitch favors the attacker so I don't understand what point you're trying to make ...Call your best defender and Messi will still disgrace them, the fact is that VVD was not facing Messi but sissoko and he did enough any other thing is headcanon
Finesse007: Lmao, you don shift goalpost ba......but you said Sissoko was unintelligent with 2% shot accuracy that blast ball over....
Now I showed you mbappe with better speed, better shot accuracy, more intelligent on same one on one vs vvd and he didn't score...lmao,so now mbappe needs help from teammates
In Sissoko and Salah video that surfaced here, they had team mate showing up for passes.
Can you show me a French player that showed up for Mbappe.
VVD is a good leader and organizer, but he’s not good with marking. He’s sincerely a coward who doesn’t take risk to mark quality dribblers.
Relies on other people’s dirty work. I like him personally, but still believe he’s lucky not to face the brutal, clinical, physical and technical strikers when football was so serious for players.
[quote author=Finesse007 post=111738300]The same scenario here....The "almighty" pace merchant mbappe vs "fear to mark" vvd
Cc raumdeuter,Oya watch this and tell me it is not vvd genius
Watching FRA vs NED & Mbappé got thru & faced Van Dijk one-on-one, similar to when Morata did on Mustafi in our Chelsea game, but the difference is, Van Dijk forced Mbappé to his right & closed his shot angle, & Mustafi gave Morata too much space & got turned. Watch VVD 👇🏼 pic.twitter.com/ixpROABnSF
CAPdan21: See monkey post analyst...1 vs 2 with no incoming support but VVD should cover all avenues for shooting??...Dem dey disgrace defenders 1v1 talkless of 2v1, maybe he should behave like boathand against Messi, neither making a tackle nor blocking the pass cuz that's what dayo calls expert marking...Smh
Prime Messi in that situation will so much deal with VVD.
VVD isn’t a good with marking.
Everybody knows this, he’s not a risk taker like the likes of Terry, Vidic and Ramos.
Man relies on his partner’s dirty work while forming leadership. Just like Silva.
A good and intelligent striker will reduce VVD’s worth to 2k in that situation.
CAPdan21: this is nonsense...any 2 vs 1 favors the attacker over the defender, there's no way VVD could reduce the threat in that situation to 0%, he did the best he could do which is to cut off the easy pass to Son and pressure the shooter...Sure it may have failed but it would not have been due to his failings as the odds were stacked against him there, the fact that he succeeded means he should receive the plaudits...
He succeeded because Sissoko isn’t an intelligent player.
Players like Son, Mbappe, Prime Messi, old Ronaldo of ManU, Salah, Mane, Hazard, Zaha, Moura and even Rashford will not only beat the situation, they’ll make sure they reduce VVD’s price tag to 2k.
raumdeuter: Remove Sissoko and put Salah, Mane, Son, Mbappe, any attacker who can hit target and lets see if anyone wont be blaming VVD for the foolishness to back away
Picture 1... He had all the time and space to sprint towards his left while dragging VVD out of Son, but no, he had to be foolish by...
Picture 2... Man wasted all the time and space he had all to run towards VVD instead of dragging him out.
Picture...3 He decided to do what he would have done since by dragging him out of Son. This time around, it was late but he still had two options....
A. Square or Chip a pass for Son to strike.
B. Fake a shot for VVD to slide like one Salzburg player did against VVD. If he had done this, he’ll be left with another 2 options, pass to son or strike with his preferred right foot.
Apart from those two options, if he had the accuracy, he’ll even score from there. No way you’ll tell me Son, Messi, Salah, Van Persie, Kane or Aguero won’t bury that shot.
Stop setting VVD up! He did absolutely nothing spectacular against a dull Sissoko.
raumdeuter: Sissoko ended up having a shot off target when he only needed to hit the goal
It was the same thing Bertrand did here he didnt go to challenge Salah and we saw how it ended Maybe if Salah too had blasted over the bar you will be hailing Bertrand for excellent defending
popizaino: Your hypocrite fans who always join you to call out Thiago Silva will play blind to comments like this that exposes your little knowledge on defending. Smh
Dayo is right.
I’ve seen players like Son, Suarez and Salah score from such position.
You attack, the defender falls back while positioning well for you not beat him, you then strike because he’ll even be blocking the keeper.
VVD got a credit for that defending because Sisoko Na mugu
popizaino: This was just few days ago when I agreed with Jode.ra that mendy has terrible passing technique. How the coach could not opt for alternatives rather than this useless passing from the back to further expose mendy's weaknesses is still a mystery to me.
Trust the likes of Simeon, Mou and Conte when it comes to this.
BlueMann: Not the first time Mendy has had a bad spell...became increasingly culpable during the run that eventually led to Lampard's sack. But he bounced back.
He didn’t bounce back, he’s good with saves.
But this modern football requires more from a keeper than saves.
