Your understanding of this is purely theoretical. Practically, whatever an attacker does to bypass you is counted as a dribble. If an attacker runs past an 'escort', technically, the escort has been dribbled.

You are rated to be good at what you do not because of how often you do it but the precision you show while doing it. Kante is an efficient tackler due to the precision of his tackles not necessarily the number of tackles.

If you play football with someone who gets dribbled easily, you will understand how tiring it can be.

Someone who gets dribbled easily is better than someone who doesn’t even attempt to mark, let alone getting dribbled.

Jorg, Busquet and Rodri are examples of escort Dm. They don’t engage opponents, they are only useful when they have the ball because of their passing abilities, not when opponents are penetrating with the ball.

The likes of Hberg, Kante, Fred, Fernandiho, Ndidi and Rice will be dribbled because they engage players a lot and it’s normal for them not to succeed anytime they engage players which is why they get dribbled sometimes.


This shouldn’t be hard to understand, unless you are trolling.

If e sure Pep, he should bench Fernandiho and buy another Rodri to use.

I earlier rated Portugal but has to choose England and France ahead of them because of subs. If Na by first 11, Portugal get am, possibly more than England, but that’s not enough.

If Bruno or Ronaldo gets injured, it’s actually over for them, same can’t be said for France and England wey their subs fit make standard 11.
