PhonesRe: Is It Worth Spending Over 500k On A Phone In 2025? Let’s Discuss. by Doppy13(m): 9:32pm On Jul 06, 2025
StellaGirlie:
Genuine question: has anyone here compared a realme phone side by side with a Samsung or iPhone lately? Curious how much real-world difference there actually is for 2–3x the price.
With the current stage and how technology is moving, realme devices can't really stand side by side with Samsung and iPhone but we really hope they can improve too, like if they can also bring their high range devices here in Nigeria

There's not so much difference sha. Performance and power of the two devices are almost equal. The C75X is the cheaper option
That's just it
The G81 and G92 are almost the same in disguise, so no much difference
Just the price difference and the C75x has the 6gb variant

PhonesRe: Let’s Be Honest, iPhones Are Not For Everyone by Doppy13(m): 9:20pm On Jun 29, 2025
Obviouslyblunt:
I use an iPhone 15 currently. I have been in the iPhone ecosystem since the days of iPhone 5s, only skipping the 8 for an X. I don’t use iPhone for luxury. I use it because of the smooth UI and fluidity. I hate that apple lock down their phones so much. I am currently using trollstore on iOS 17.0 to sideload apps and tweak my phone to my desire. Hence why I’ll die with this iPhone 15, or if another jailbreak or tweak comes out for these new iPhones.

I love Samsung, pixel and the Redmi turbo device I saw one time on this website and I’ll argue that these are better phones than the iPhone. But In the end I still come back to iOS because of that fluidity. It’s just missing on android social apps. I really wish android will try this to perfection so it will be, bye bye iPhones for me, but I know it has to do with developers optimizing their apps, and swift integration is what will give you this, which iOS uses.
I really like you this, you just said my mind about the iphone series
Android need to step up their games on app notifications and integration which Is very very important

PhonesWhy The Realme C75x Is The Perfect First Smartphone: Full Specs And Pricing by Doppy13(op): 9:08pm On Jun 29, 2025
Continuation of my last post "Thinking About Your First Smartphone? realme C75x Might Be Just Right"

If you’re stepping into the world of smartphones for the first time, the realme C75x is a compelling choice that balances performance, durability, and affordability. Launched in April 2025, this device is tailored for users in Nigeria seeking a reliable, feature-packed phone without breaking the bank. Let’s dive into why the realme C75x stands out, covering its full specifications and pricing.
The realme C75x sports a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals for scrolling, gaming, and video streaming. With a resolution of 1604 x 720 HD+ and 625 nits peak brightness, the screen ensures clarity even in bright sunlight, making it ideal for outdoor use.
Powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset, the phone handles everyday tasks like browsing, social media, and light gaming with ease. It runs on Android 15 with realme UI 6.0, offering a clean, user-friendly interface that’s perfect for beginners navigating their first smartphone.
Photography is a highlight, with a 50MP rear camera featuring AI enhancements for sharp, vibrant photos, even in low light. Whether capturing landscapes or portraits, the camera delivers impressive results for its price range. The 5MP front camera ensures decent selfies and clear video calls, catering to social media enthusiasts.
With up to 8GB RAM (expandable to 24GB via Dynamic RAM) and storage options of 128GB or 256GB (expandable up to 1TB), the realme C75x offers ample space for apps, photos, and videos, making it a future-proof choice for new users.
Durability is a key selling point. The realme C75x boasts IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for dust and water resistance, meaning it can withstand splashes, submersion, and even high-pressure water jets. Its ArmorShell™ Protection and MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance ensure it survives drops and rough handling, a crucial feature for first-time users prone to accidents. The 5310mAh battery, paired with 45W fast charging, keeps the phone running for over a day and recharges quickly, minimizing downtime.
Available in Coral Pink and Oceanic Blue, the realme C75x combines style with practicality. Priced at ₦178,700 for the 6GB+128GB variant and ₦208,200 for the 8GB+256GB model, it offers excellent value in Nigeria’s mid-range market. These prices make it accessible for budget-conscious buyers seeking a robust, feature-rich device.
The realme C75x’s blend of a high-refresh-rate display, solid performance, long-lasting battery, and rugged build makes it an ideal first smartphone. It’s a device that grows with you, handling everything from basic tasks to more demanding apps, all while surviving the bumps of daily life. For those in Nigeria looking to make a smart investment, the realme C75x is a top contender.

PhonesThinking About Your First Smartphone? Realme C75x Might Be Just Right by Doppy13(op): 8:42pm On Jun 28, 2025
Hey folks! I wanted to talk a little about the realme C75x, especially for those thinking of getting their first proper smartphone or upgrading from a basic one.

While I haven’t personally used the device yet, I’ve been following realme’s C-series for a while, and from everything I’ve seen, the C75x really seems like one of those phones that understands everyday users. It’s not about crazy specs or flashy features, it’s about giving you what you actually need without breaking the bank.

Let’s start with the display: it’s big and clear, perfect for streaming videos, browsing social media, or reading messages without straining your eyes. Whether you’re watching skits on Facebook or checking WhatsApp chats, it’s built to keep up with you without feeling too complicated.

One thing that stands out about realme phones in general and the C75x is no exception is how user-friendly the interface is. Everything is simple to navigate, even if you’re not that into tech. Just tap, swipe, and go.

Battery life is also a big deal, especially for first-time buyers who don’t want to worry about charging all day. The C75x promises long-lasting use, which is perfect if you're always on the move or using your phone for work, calls, or light entertainment.

And yes there’s a decent camera too. It might not rival the high-end flagship models, but for everyday photos, selfies, or snaps with friends and family, it absolutely gets the job done.

Also the military grade protection is not left out. IP68/IP69 dust tight and water resistant (high pressure water jets; immersible up to 2m for 60 hours).

From what I’ve gathered, the realme C75x feels like a smart, safe pick if you're just getting started. You don’t have to worry about complicated settings, it gives you a premium feel for a budget price, and most importantly it helps you stay connected, entertained, and confident with your phone choice.

If you’re thinking of getting your first Android phone or gifting one to someone who’s just stepping into the smartphone world, I’d say the realme C75x deserves a serious look.

Anyone already using the C75x—how’s it been treating you?
