You will get your money back with profit. The only thing that can put you at a loss is when the value of steem and SBD drops and remains at $1 to $3 which is very rare. This will reduce the earning on your post

With 100 steem, you can lease 3000SP which will give you an upvote of $0.90.. You could use it to upvote your posts or comments like 10 times daily and leave it for 24 another hours for it to replenish (Voting power drains by 2% for every upvote).. So when it gets to 80%, stop upvoting with it so that it can replenish within 24 hours. If it goes below that, it will take more than 24 hours to replenish

Now let me make a calculation of your expected earning

Let me use $0.80 to calculate it

$0.80 multiplied by 10= $8 daily

$8 daily multiplied by 28 days= $192 (it's for four weeks)

$192 divided by 2 =96 SBD (that's what you're getting after the 28 days)

96*1,700= N163, 200 ( let's use the current value of SBD N1,700)

The remaining $96 will be divided by the current value of steem which is $4.1

$96/ $4.1= 23.4

So you're getting 23.4 SP at the end of the 28 days... Your 23.4 SP is still worth like N23, 000

Note: This is just an estimation. Things can slightly change when the value of steem and SBD changes

Aside hard work, consistency, patience and persistence on Steemit, LUCK ultimately out-rules any other thing

Sometimes, someone can even create a post that doesn't really make sense and a whale might just crawl into the topic and give it a $10
upvote while the same whale will give worth of upvote $0.10 that makes more sense

That someone is a whale does not mean he will always give you a huge amount of upvote. Some of them will upvote your post low at a low percentage

I noticed i only got rewarded on my comments that were upvoted.

Let me make a little addition

People should avoid making too short, irrelevant or monosyllabic comments such as "nice post, I like this, interesting, nice one, please upvote me, I just upvoted you, etc

Steemit is dominated by many intellects unlike Instagram, Facebook and Twitter that are highly dominated by unreasonable people. Try to make comments that are very sensible on people's post. By so doing, people might he forced to check up your blog

Another thing I want to chip in is that you should avoid resteeming too many posts ( resteeming means sharing people's posts). I hate to see too many resteemed posts on people's blog and I trust that many people hate it too

When people only take a glance at your blog, what they see will determine whether they will follow you or not and if they see that your blog is devoid of creativity, they lose interest in your blog. If they scroll down and all they see is 5-10 resteemed posts before they see your own post, you're only slowing down your ministry. (people do this but a newbie should avoid it)

Lastly, try to search for this app on playstore "plagiarism check" and make you perform plagiarism check as you're writing. Don't legs deceive ourselves here, what most people is to rewrite other people's article and spice it up well

You can rewrite the post of other people but ensure sure you use plagiarism check in order to put you on a safe side.

Once your post is infested by Cheetah's comment, you will earn little on nothing from such post

Let me add one more thing. Whales like when you hype them and this works like magic too.. Try to comment on their posts and heap praises on them. Whine their head and make them feel like a king. I remember swelling the head of a whale and he gave me $5 straight up.

Note: Your comment must be in alignment with the post but still try to hype them codedly

One thing we advise newbies (I was given this advise too). Set a target to comment at least 50 times every day. I'm not talking about the "Nice post" kind of comment but one that shows you really read the work. What works for me and I know will work for you is this; immediately you drop your post, go on a marathon commenting on other people's posts.... It will prompt them to come check yours too.
