All Protocol duly Observed(@Estijaz, Dr. Host, Kumpharm, Professor1234, MockinJay, ogunsinamayowa, Holamarncy, Pr0ton, Bhuumhite, felixyiga,Pes13 et al )

Many a time when I look at the dwindling level of Education in Nigeria I am usually at sea. You can't act aloof especially if you are shopping for your admission in Jamb's Mart.

A myriad of questions on my mind, if I ask them(some ridiculous, others rhetorhical) all I will get is a series of speculation.

Recently, a friend of mine called in from Malaysia(studying Computer Science and Engineering) asking me how things were in Nigeria and LaSgiDi; why the election was postponed and the most mind numbing question "What University are you in now and what is your Course of Study?". I shaked it off with a sly smile and said "none due to many reasons I can't enumerate on fone".

Truly I cannot enumerate them, here was a guy whose results in NECO cannot stand mine; a guy I taught in the exam hall. Well, he has got a rich old man, am not conceited. So also are my Friends in Dublin(Malik-studying Biomedical Physics), Australia(Tejumadejesu-studying Law) and Sweden(Folarin-studying Music).

I have always wished I could get out of Nigeria; not going to back yard(Ghana and Benin, albeit I have been in those countries a couple of times). I had always said to that effect that I would proudly hoist the Green and White Flag (be it at Oxford, Johns Hopkins, University of Withwatersrand, Liverpool, Arbedeen, Westminister, Hull, Cardiff, University of Bristol, University of British Columbia) with a great sense of Pride and tell those Pale fellows "Hey, my name is Opeyemi and am from Nigeria, how do you do?".

But different is the case when you leave the shores of Nigeria; for Instance if a plane form Nigeria touches down in Paris, France. Those silly french cops would do a thorough search on the plane and Passengers(excluding those with the blue passport, yellow passport etc but not the green) giving little cognisanse to the fact that we are the alleged Giant of Africa( without us there would be nothing like Peugeout, Heineken etc). Saying it under their breath in french(those bloody Nigerians are here again).

What more can I say, many have thesame timeline as I have but different Universities. I was tossed from UniLag to Lautech(Idiots) from there don't know what my fate holds there, there in Ibadan.

Dr.Host was Victim as well, from UniZik tossed to Lautech(Idiots) and kicked to OAU. I have learn't the lessons from carryovers you wish you never had or was imposed on you.

Even the Lecturers are another headache. Imagine a Lecturer that has a Ph.D chemistry looking at his Ipad to balance a chemical reaction. Lecturers that confuse the verbs has and had. Many of those guys are not supposed to be where they've found themselves but what can the do to rectify the nauseating situation.

Some day I would be a Lecturer at University of Withwatersrand(S.A), OAU(Ife) where I am gonna tell people its not the size of the Dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the Dog. After being tossed here and there nevertheless I came out strong.

To team MBBS 2016 and team Physiology 2015. Aspirant ni mi o.

Opeyemi Victor Oyeyemi(Professor of Gastrointestinal Surgery)

Power = work done /time taken
Power = force*distance/time
power = force*velocity
Force = power/velocity
Power = 40hp and since 1hp = 746W;
P = 40*746.
Therefore, force = (40*746)/15
= 1989.33N
= 1.99kN (to 2 d.P)

Abeg dis one na for science aspirants only abeg make d gurus dem nor murder d question for me.here it comes

the height at which the atmosphere ceases to exist is about 80km.If the atmospheric pressure in the ground level is 760mmHg,the pressure at a height 20km above the ground level is (a) 380mmHg (b) 570mmHg (c) 190mmHg (d) 180mmHg
the first thing is pressure decreases with height at d height of 80 d pressure is 760 to get d rate of decrease divide 760 with 80 u have 9.5 i.e for each km rise d pressure drop by 9.5 so when a dis of 20km is covered d pressure as reduce by 9.5 * 20 which gives 190 so to get d pressure at 20km we deduct d lost pressure from the total pressure 760~ 190 u get 570``` Hope am right

1)Heat is a form of energy n d SI unit for energy is joule na,y r all ur answers in kwh?It is d unit PHCN uses.To me d solution is this

w=pt = 95/100[40 * (1000*60*60)]=1.368*10^8J

2)PHCN total power consumed weda it was converted or not.So we use d entire 100%
cost=(40/1000)* 1000 *6=#2.4

3)Dis is d simplest of all
fraction =60k/240k=1/4

The time isn't too small.

It depends.

I got to notice that people who wrote maths and physics last year didn't do too well.
But, those that wrote chemistry in place of mathematics, did well enough.

All am saying is this, if you're to take calculations, be as swift as possible.

The time is JUST ENOUGH for you to make a 70+ score.
No kidding!
like ao many calculations in chem and phy

*Clears throat* Well, well, well look who we have here...Dr Host.
Dammy you aren't serious, remember the me, the LAUTECH chap? We were chattin on 2go and u were like u are presently at Ipetumodu. Seeing you popping up everywhere amuses me. How have you been, after the LAUTECH battering of morale?
I am back to Physiology(Winks).

I guess I am not the intended Horpehyemi, mine is Horpeyemmi66; with that delineation fully made I move to give a thought(not the thought) of mine concerning the Crossing brouhaha. The person arguing 'bout Chemistry being able to cross to Medicine is correct in every respect to me. Physiology, BCHM, Anatomy, Nut/Diet et al ain't professional courses so also is Chemistry, if those in the Basic Medical Sciences can cross why would those in the Pure Sciences be denied, that arguement is Untenable, null and void. The law of relativity should work here, logically you can't be tall in Lagos and be short in Jos...Crossing(basis) should still remain the same irrespective of Location( Department).
