Politics › Re: Why Peter Obi Avoided Debate With Me — Umahi by Dricker: 10:02am On Jul 22
mrvitalis:
Majority of Nigerians are poorly educated on what governance entails

Build them road and fine airport if you add rail they are glad

They don’t care about how those projects was funded is it viable ? What’s the fiscal implications of the funding ?

I called it the “ cocoa-house syndrome “ or legacy project syndrome

We are people who see governance as physical infrastructure anything else is irrelevant
This have made the political class to do everything to build legacy physical projects to point to that I built this

Someone was talking about Peter and his money saved that why didn’t he build infrastructure more

I explained what is called delayed gratification

Peter obi left about $350 billion dollars as saving if Willy Obiano did same that’s $700 million dollars say soludo did same that would be $875 million dollars in savings

Say the that money was used to subscribe Nigeria Euro bond at 6.5% yearly that’s $56 million dollars yearly that’s almost 80 billion in sustained guaranteed revenue
Now this 80 billion is what u use to build feel good infrastructure

Any idiot can build infrastructure if money is available even Someone like wike is doing it in Abuja

The real issues in government is making sure funds are available or creating path for future funds to be available without causing fiscal harm to the balance shit

Sure we want good roads ,rails ,bridges and the rest but can we afford it ? This things are not something u borrow money to build because they would never be able to generate enough income to repay the loan that leads to devaluation

Same way you want a Gwagon ,private jets ,house in Ikoyi but if you get a 5 billion naira loan today that you would start paying back in 5 years ,would you buy those things ? Or invest to make profit to be able to repay the loan then buy your dream car and house ?

So in terms of real Governance Peter Obi is the best governor in Nigerian History
bro u made perfect sense here but an average nigerian wont understand anything u wrote here..thank God we still get sensible people like u in this country..we are in a country whereby governance is not judged by merit, welfare, human development or even by what u did to lift people from poverty..our own be say once Governor dy build roads to us he's already the best..substandard roads o

exactly bro....that's why I no longer blame those who rose up to fight for them only to end up joining the leaders to get their own share....at some point they might have realized Nigeria isn't worth dying for and the very people you're fighting for could be used against you.
u wont blame them bro..if i see i go collect..to fight for this country suppose follow for a thousand ways to kpai...pathetic country pathetic people

Politics › Re: Govt Budgets N8.05billion To Build, Renovate Churches, Mosques Amid Debt Crisis by Dricker: 12:04pm On Jul 20
Mattswaggz:
I am getting to the point whereby pitying Nigerian is looking like a waste of time and also I am beginning to lose the strength to blame those who jumped from the sinking ship instead of trying to build it and make it stable because the very people you're fighting for or trying to enlighten will be the very ones to back stab you and kpai you self if care isn't taken....they,plus the leaders are the enabler of this backward system and they're willing to ensure it stays that way by any means possible...when you see them complain, it's not because they really wants a sane and thriving country....it is mostly because it isn't "FAVOURING THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES" which depict the self centeredness and greed in majority of them....now how will the country develop with people like this?. undecided

These sets of leaders that y'all think are dvmb are way smarter than most of you....they've seen the scam in all these made up imported religions and they've decided to use it to their advantage as well since the citizens have refused to have sense....keep up with the backward mentality and stay at the level of being everyone's biitch....from the Arabs to the Europeans and now the Chinese and Indians and others are joining the fray to sample the loosed, senseless and confused biitch. undecided
bro the earlier u realize this country is gone the better..nigerians re not worth saving and worse they will fight anyone trying to save them..I keep saying that this country is hell's branch office on earth

Business › Re: Importers Set To Increase Depot Petrol Price To N1,350/litre by Dricker: 10:43am On Jul 17
Cutezt:
It is honestly exhausting and deeply depressing.

Being a Nigerian feels like playing a survival game where the difficulty level is constantly being cranked up, but nobody gave you the cheat codes.

Having to constantly brace for the next wave of inflation just to go about your daily life is mentally and financially draining. It’s a relentless cycle, and the collective fatigue is incredibly real.

The heart of the black man, especially anyone who joins the APC, is not just desperately wicked; it is incredibly and unimaginably wicked.

Even Satan will be amazed by the wondrous work of APC politicians.
bro that are demons in human skin..even devil can't be this wicked and heartless...worst part some people still support and defend them cus 30k,tribe and religion...

Even if they increase the price to 25k per litre, Nigerians will not do anything.

First week - roads will be empty

Third week - Traffic is back

Those at the top know the modu operandi of Nigerians
am telling you..thats y I keep saying nigerian politicians are the luckiest in the world..u just enter power loot very well use tribalism and religion to divide and conquer, give scraps to the poor and continue looting

The worst part is most of them don't even want to be rescued.

They're still blinded by tribalism and religion.

I'm even tired of telling them to vote out APC.

They can vote for anybody they like for all I care. Nobody is doing anybody a favour by voting for the right person.
u will see people suffering but will always put tribe and religion above their conscience and welfare..countries abroad are thriving on technology and education but ours in this 2026 na tribalism and religion..a country with this kind of mindset can never get better..
We just deceive ourselves for this country
